I ordered something for the first time with the app. The order confirmation screen on the app doesn't say your name. The order number on the app also didn't match the order number on the restaurant's receipt. The Friendlies staff member almost didn't give me my order because of this. The staff member was just doing their job, but this is just horrible app design.

Never had any issues with this app, although sometimes it won't let me log in or when I try too it just takes me to the website so what's the point of the app then? But I can say it is smooth working, very easy to utilize and place orders. And a feature I never seen with any other food apps, it gives you information of where you placed a order like directions and phone number, that's helpful if you're new to the area you ordered at.

Overall I think the app is awful. Ordering is easy but that's about it. When you get to check out you can't apply coupons (birthday coupon sent to email didn't work) and it seems like they haven't ever updated their app. You can't see your rewards instead it send you to log in on the friendlys webpage and then you STILL can't see your birthday reward. Why bother driving down when you can't be sure you can even get your promised free b-day sundae. Rather just order online if I decide to order.

Order was completely wrong and missing items. Store refused to do anything to fix a problem that happened due to an error the app made when ordering. Claims I have to go to door dash for a refund even though I ordered through the Friendly's app. Lost money sad kids with no ice cream because they wouldn't put in for a redelivery. Horrible system. Zero stars.

Time to update my review. Update #1: the app is broken. It will not allow anyone to place an order. I've tried uninstalling the app. I've talked with others who use the app. There is just no way to place an order in the app! Complete garbage! Update #2: It appears that after about 8 months the app started working again. Nothing needed to be done, the app just seems to have turned on! But now I can't select my ice cream flavors when ordering a Jim Dandy Sunday! PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE!

Friendly's is my favorite and of course the ice cream and Sundays are always great. Although it has become quite pricey it's still a treat. I like this app and being able to get Rewards towards purchases or future purchases. I just wish there was a way I could send a message to someone in corporate if I want to ask a question outside of the restaurant.

I was suppose to get free delivery but was charged the $3.99 service charge and $2.99 delivery charge. Food arrived 12 mins late. My son's drink wasn't with order, all three fries for 3 orders were cold, and the condiments that were suppose to come with the munchimana were missing. Worst experience ever. And then noone answers at restaurant.

Do yourself a favor and NEVER use the app. I ordered food for delivery at 6:06pm. The app said it will be ready at 7:03pm. We called at 7:30. Turns out the app doesn't send the order to the store till 7:03. Also the app showed delivery but the restaurant got a print out that said pick up. While we were on the phone a door dash driver showed up to deliver the order. The food was ice cold by the time we got it (8:10pm) and the order was incomplete. Also the app interface is confusing at best.

App is unusable as its not possible to create an account. Cannot proceed past the password screen. After typing my desired password twice, I only get a vague message "6 characters", and cannot proceed. I don't know if it's telling me 6 isn't enough or it can only be 6, but I've tried both more than 6 and exactly 6 and neither worked.

The food has always been good and the new rewards system is a nice perk, however, the staff never seems to be in a friendly mood. I've waitresses/bartended, so I understand how stressful can be, but I have never seen a more consistently miserable and unprofessional business. I would also like to add that it defeats the purpose of convience to have the option to order ahead of time only to be left standing there for 20 mins staring at your order, while not a single person will hand it to you.
