Welcome to Aurora Hills!

Nestled deep within the Appalachian Mountains, Aurora Hills was known for its thriving industry and its picturesque landscape. Owing to the region's natural resources, Aurora Hills was looking to become one of the most prosperous towns in the state.

All is not how it seems, however. A series of disappearances of residents and tourists alike have plagued the region over the past few years, sparking a mass exodus from the small town. Now, in October 1981, the town is a shell of its former self. The prosperity that once blessed Aurora Hills has all but evaporated.

Working as a park ranger, you must investigate what's going on with these disappearances and answer questions that have tormented residents for years. Why has there been an increase in disappearances over the past 6 months? Why are there no traces of the people who went missing? Perhaps most importantly, who, or what, could be behind all of this? It's up to you to venture forth, deep into the national park, to uncover the mysteries of Aurora Hills...

Very hard. This game is about solving puzzles, and they are diabolical even for veterans. The other game play is a bit easier, graphics are great, story good. No hidden objects and relatively few objects or clues at a time. Nice job. Maybe a difficulty level option would help.

There were definitely highs and lows here. Good job with the cinematics, the music, and the art style in general. The puzzles were creative for this genre; I can see you wanted to go above and beyond the complexity of puzzles in similar games. The photo album was a clever addition. Maybe swiping, instead of tapping, would improve the feel. Navigation felt a little jarring. The decent story, most importantly, kept me coming back, but I was disappointed it had not progressed very far by the end.

I cheated on all the puzzles! Which is a problem, I recommend giving an allowance so the game can force you to do all the necessary leg work like revisiting areas to take pictures of obvious hints as well as being pro active before reach a puzzle. I almost hit 4 stars but it's too easy if you want to cheat through the entire thing. This is a good base to a game. A lot more could be added. Tired of games asking for some form of money or bludgeoning you with adds. This was a real nice change up
