2024-11-26 | B.L. Alley | Frustrating. I appreciate a good challenge, but the clues need to match the puzzles and be consistent. For instance, if you need to pay attention to a specific color from the solution the clue color must also match, especially when it's intermittent. Ironically, the realism of a particular puzzle device is the reason it's impossible to solve without help from others or hints. It's also not fun when randomly clicking a puzzle solves it without knowing how.
2024-11-15 | Brady Warath | It's actually one great game!! Way better than any of the other point and click games!! I thought it was supposed to be more suspenseful but it doesn't really have much creepiness to it!! Sure there are some weird moments and a little tension but not a horror story game for sure!! But maybe that will change in the next chapters. The only reason for the 4* is because the camera only holds a small amount of pictures and you can't keep them on screen while you need them. Other than that it's good!!
2024-03-15 | Melanie A | Really liked it! Challenging for sure, but never frustratingly so. The puzzles were all unique to the game & situation- with I think maybe 2? mini games? If you get stuck, there's a hint button that provides genuine (FREE!) hints upon first click, but also, when it's regarding something specific, has a "solve a step?" button, which will show you *how* it does it, and if you're STILL at a loss, if you keep clicking that button, you'll eventually be shown the full solution. Wish it was longer!
2020-08-28 | condux penultimate | Classic puzzle adventure game. Decent graphic realism and a quiet, lonely atmosphere. Copious use of the camera and a keen perception should solve even the most difficult puzzles. Very logical. The hint system is so explicative, even more impatient or frustrateable players shouldn't need a walkthrough. Files and diaries provide a few clues to the story but a leave a lot of mystery. Simple but appealing creepy animations. Note some items can be twisted with 2 fingers.
2020-06-24 | Jonathan Steinberg | Nice art. Decent amount of content for the price. Puzzles were good; a few were on the difficult side, so be aware that this is going to be a challenge. A couple of them i didnt even understand even after solving them with the hints. Good thing that hints were built in. Only real negative is that the art is very detailed, and many times it was not clear what you could interact with without a lot of random clicks. A visible hotspot inficator would be a needed improvement.
2020-02-26 | A Google user | CLIFFHANGER. Its True Fear all over again! But with even less answers! And an SCP Foundation feel to it. Which I like! Puzzles can be a tad frustrating but I really like the camera function! I wish more hidden object/puzzle games had it, given that the player might not always have a pen and paper handy or are in a vehicle.
2020-02-17 | A Google user | Interesting environment and I really liked the mood! Some of the puzzles were quite challenging to work out - crucial little details that take a lot of mulling over to catch. I admit that after a while I started to wish I could see a little more story to go with all of the puzzles, but that's my only gripe. Well worth the price, and I'll be watching for Chapter 2!
2020-02-12 | A Google user | Enjoyed playing game. Love the camera so I don't have to write things down. Sometimes it was obvious what to do next, but other times had to look at hint to see where I was supposed to head next. Perhaps a more vague hint to start with might be nice, just a wee nudge rather than the answer. I like the directional movement since no motion sickness. Lighting was good. Skipping the too tough challenges a nice option. Look forward to next chapter.
2020-01-25 | A Google user | It's rare for a game to engage me as much as this one! The environment design was immersive and detailed, and the "journey" was connected enough to make me keep opening the next door, etc. A handful of puzzles were harder for me to find/figure out, but the hints are helpful if you're impatient like me. A good mind-bender with no ads and nice background music that kept me entertained on a Friday night - looking forward to the next chapter!
2020-01-25 | A Google user | Loved this game! The ending was a train wreck tho. Anyways. Great game play and graphics and teasing story line. I still know little of the story but its only the first chapter. When the next chapter comes out I'll prolly rip through it and have to wait months all over again for the next one. The hint system kept me in the game while keeping the challenge alive. Myst fans will love it. Great job!! |
