2024-11-24 | Mino Mortem (Stefan) | The app was really great compared to the others but there are some changes in the updates that I do not approve of, especially when they've brought bugs and suboptimal performance to the app. I hope the developer is doing well and find it in himself to keep going and start keeping up with app maintenance.
2024-10-23 | Spyros Kos | One of the handy and well structured notebooks... BUT... yes there is a but that would like to see fixed soon please. Add the option for users to select whether they want to delete notes without confirmations. Confirmations when forced, are very annoying in any software, either office, multimedia or games software.
2024-09-29 | Steve Jones | Nice note taking app with lots of potential. I've been able to create new folders and place them into the vault but I can't work out how to place existing folders in the vault. Can you tell me? Do you have a tutorial explaining how to use noto? I got a new photo and I was able to export my notes from my old phone to my new phone easily. Thanks for your help
2024-09-23 | Janet | I love this app, I love the way it's orangised, it looks good and it's easy to use. BUT I really wish there was a way to make an account so if you get a new phone you can transfer your notes. I got a new phone and there's no way for me to access my old notes that I had written over 2 years. Really disappointing, other then that it's great
2024-09-20 | Hecc Mann | Really promising, but I don't think it's going to have any further updates, so I don't think it's worth using if you plan on adding images, drawings, have 30k+ words per note, or any serious note taking that has a lot of words in general. The organization, folders, and backups are really useful, though. But it just promising, that's it. At this point, it's kinda disappointing it's not being worked on further. But still, I recommend it if you only plan on using words, and few of them at that.
2024-08-05 | Lyndon Burrell Jr | I like this app a lot very simple and convenient but I gave it a three because despite having direct contact via Telegram to talk to devs I don't trust the security of the app. Plus your in the middle of rebranding Great idea good execution but bad in operations to me make it work first then make it look pretty for people to come not make it look pretty people come but it's not ready yet looking forward to seeing the improvements for now I'm going with notesnook because of security
2024-07-25 | Timmi | Good note taking app. No ads. Wonderful. Only locally stored. I'd have liked to see a basic text attributes toolbar, plus sending encrypted backup file to protonmail, or to mega, like a couple other note apps do (standard note and Obsidian respectively). Even with that added I think it wouldn't deviate from the goal of being "simple". Simple is nice, but too simple isn't great either.
2024-06-11 | tofu | It's an okay note taking app. I know it is a minimal app, but it's missing lots of features that a note app should have. So, please add some options like, text size, headings, text color, hightlighting, italicization, etc :)) I think that would be awesome !!
2024-03-22 | Preet Jagani | Should highlight basic features of note, too fancy and focusing on marketing/ gimmick features. Should focus on features like check list/ stripe/ bold something in note, underline some part etc... Rather than undo, redo, history, pin, snooze. Who needs numbers of words in note? Or number of words selected in note?? Seriously man need to work on basic ux.
2024-02-26 | tmp tempry | 5 PROS: open source, doesn't need "full network access" permission, beautifull ui, amazing note organization, easy to use. 4 CONS: no export ability for individual notes(txt, pdf, json, etc like Notally), no task & subtask with checkbox in widget(like Notally which is open source), no advanced notification bar feature, no password for the app. All that said, I still give it a 5 star |
