2024-11-25 | Brian Karcher | I really like this app, but recently (last day or two) the "expand" feature just expands pictures just as blackness, not what's in the picture. I've tried several pictures, even, as a test case, ones that I've used this feature on in the past, and even those just come out black. Hopefully the devs look into this, as this was the first and only app that I've ever seen to offer such a feature.
2024-11-21 | scrimble | It has a whole bunch of features, but I'll go over one that I love and one that isn't amazing. The curves tool is absolutely incredible and allows for some truly magical edits, as well as just being super fun to play with. The not so great bit is the text tool. It's finicky and not very customizable beyond a very limited scope. However, there are plenty of other apps that can do that, and it's not a big downside all things considered.
2024-11-07 | Gu Mo | Good features & func. (more "looks," please), but my 5" screen is almost too small to use the many, but tiny, tiny controls. (Also, too, too DARK GRAY text for "options not currently in use.") It's like the app was made for a large, PC-sized screen. Please enlarge, even if say, you only show 2or3 icons on a line (rather than the 5or6 across, as implemented now). But thanks for the good work of this app.
2024-10-07 | Gelynn | Update: This is STILL a problem. | The most recent Android update killed Snapseed's photo picker. I only see Cloud Media, but no Browse... on top of it like before. This was fixed at some point, but the problem is back again. I can't access 75% of my photos because they're not in Downloads, Camera, etc.
2024-10-03 | Agent Tomcat | So this is developed by Google, but somehow, despite the fact that the new Android media picker is also developed by Google, no one has bothered to enable the "Browse..." option in the media picker. Since the media picker is designed poorly, it can only see a few select albums, which means I'm stuck scrolling down endlessly to find the images I want. According to the design docs for the media picker, the app developer must manually enable this option. Please enable it.
2024-09-24 | D K | Great tool, wish it meet the android *standard" for customization, it otherwise seems like an iOS app adapted to droid. Would like to see options for starting with the tools, not filters, saving the edited file into the original location, making the last choice of brush be the first choice for the next edit, etc. You can't beat the price, you get a lot of editing, and the results are impressive.
2024-09-17 | Æthañ H | I use many different graphic apps, some have capabilities that others don't so I will choose different ones accordingly. I'll often edit images in one app, save it or send it to another one, & again to another for it's particular strengths. Snapseed is one I choose often. There's a good selection of ready made editing tools plus a greater set of more sophisticated tweaking tools. The app does what it does quite well & once you get the hang of it, the process becomes intuitive and easy.
2024-09-17 | Thomas Kirk (Ikon64) | As a real estate photographer, I really appreciate the many features of this app, including but not limited to the perspective tool for straightening out the crooked lines in home photos. I like that you can directly export from Google Photos into Snapseed, and then it will import the photo right back to Google Photos when you are through with your edits. They also appear to have added some sort of a generative fill when cropping photos, which is really nice.
2024-09-14 | Abigail Hunter-Willingham | I have loved this app. I have recommended it to hundreds of people because of its user friendly interface and it's perfect for people beginning in photography. But now it won't let me open certain albums or photos saved on my Samsung. Is this a Snapseed problem or an Android problem? Nobody has been able to tell me. They are MY photos that I have taken, but it says my admin has not allowed it. I'M the admin, so I'm confused as to what has changed in my settings. I haven't been able to find a fix
2024-08-29 | Bhushan Sonaje | In today's AI-driven world, Snapseed is a powerful and versatile photo editing app with a broad toolset and high-quality filters. However, it falls short due to its lack of auto-selective masking, which makes it challenging to edit just the subject or the background. To make these changes, users must resort to complex techniques like double exposure and multiple layers. Compared to other modern apps that use advanced AI for precise edits, Snapseed's missing this basic feature. |
