| 2024-11-25 |  | | When it works, I receive a clear picture. However, most of the time when I attempt to open the app to view images there's no signal to view the images from my app! Seriously considering removing the cameras to install better quality cameras. I hope the cables work with other systems because these were not easy to install either...! System is buffering as I'M writing this too!!! SMH |

If your event is one of the recent ones and you do not have to push "see more events" which doesn't work anyways then it will just sit on a loading screen until there is an error message and it doesn't work. I have literally never had this system working and hired someone to install and setup... Doesn't work. At all. Whatsoever. You can't view ANY past videos. Only live feed then half the time that wont |
| 2024-11-21 |  | | I've had the camera for almost 3 years. I will say that it still works and that's impressive. But it won't record anything that needs to be recorded. A simple function to make it record 24/7 would be great. Then I could at least have the video even if I do have to scroll back hours of footage. It just simply doesn't do what it's supposed to. And it's really not that cheap to be this useless. |

Once I get one notification about 15 others come with it. You have to clear every notification one at a time instead all the night owl notifications. I have mixture of plug in and battery cameras 1080 and 2k. They all suck equally. Very narrow field of view. Cameras frequently go offline. App takes forever to load. This is the most expensive China made special junk! |

Picture "HD" is blurry, 200ft is out of range of view, if a burglar shines a flashlight at the camera, all sight is lost. and if you're watching a video and try to replay again, the App take even longer to load, will crash, and you have to close and reopen it. it's their way to coerce you to pay for the cloud instead of using the SD card. |
| 2024-11-12 |  | | I've been using this app for years. It was very clunky, hard to navigate. Up until about 8 months ago, I would have rated this app about a 2. I hated to use it but unfortunately you can only configure/ modify my DVR via the Protect App. But about 8 months ago, they started making regular updates to their app, improving the program and the screens. Great Job! |
| 2024-11-06 |  | | Not all functions work. Audio alerts. Pre recorded audio alerts aren't enabled for some reason. Button is there but doesn't play . Video is great night and day. Record time shuts off when human/ movement has been longer than 2 min. Audio recording is fine for what I need. This app is 5 times better than older versions. I'm greatful for that |

App is up-to-date Edit: Responding to your response. Don't be snarky or act like you don't know what I'm referring to, there are similar complaints. I'm not an idiot. I know how to load more events; it's not working. I get an error every f------ time since the update. "Oops! Something went Wrong! The operation could not be processed." Fix it! |
| 2024-11-04 |  | | New review. Samsung update that incl. this app, 6AM, NightOwl is going off every 5 to 20 minutes for no reason, says a human is there. Not a bug or a cat or a spider. Which has been a problem before, maybe reset after I turned off "Crying Wolf" makes you turn off notifications. Constant false notifications has been a problem since day 1. This version of both hard and software is not nearly as good as the Night Owl we had 3 years ago that was destroyed by lightning. Trail cam would be better. |
| 2024-10-31 |  | | Night Owl System works fine. App is a big step back. The app does not allow rotation and full screen display of cameras. Every camera is displayed as a !square! box! Not possible to have it displayed in 4:3 or 16:10 format. It is even more annoying on a tablet. Please add rotation and full screen as it was in the old Night owl app! I am considering returning it because of it. |
