Want to love NC but can't any longer. When it works, it's awesome. But constant required security updates become a security risk unto themselves. fell behind in self hosted server updates & started manual incremental updates from 21.0.3-ls143 to php8-23.0.4-ls68, where I can no longer access NC server anymore for over a year. Spent months trying to resolve "[url] took too long to respond". Don't have time to constantly debug these update breaks. Quitting NC for out-of-box PNP NAS storage.
Although the idea is truly remarkable, it appears to closely resemble the oft-repeated assertion that "2010 is the year of the Linux desktop." Individuals who are willing to invest significant time and effort in configuring various settings may find the application useful. However, it is currently far from being accessible and user-friendly for the average individual.
Sync does not work 100% of the time. It seems to choose which files sync at random if you sync folders. Attempting to force sync was not working for me. No option to just download folders. On device folder does not function as intended. I think next cloud on pc seems good so far as I've only been using it for a few weeks now.
