2024-12-10 | Carlos Smith | It's OK, but partner AI can be very frustrating. It sometimes makes nonsensical plays. For example, on the opening hand of a opponent who bid 2, it throws in 2 of trump. Oh well, if that's all it had, what can you do? Oh! next hand it throws in the 10 of trump! Why on earth would you give the opponent the card that wins its bid on the first hand if you didn't *have* to? But then on other hands I've seen it throw 10's when it could have thrown a higher face card that isn't worth 10 points game.
2024-11-28 | Bradley Bertrand | I played over 10,000 hands and there were some bad plays by the computer from time to time but now the computer players turned utterly moronic. Leading out with a Jack or duece when having the ace. When playing teams, you always lay down the Ace in case your partner can help. Just terrible decisions that now it's unplayable. You lost a customer with this game turning to garbage. And my setting is the lowest aggressive setting too. Hate to see the highest.
2024-11-01 | Charlie Tocci | Adverts are annoying but great game. I regularly scream how my partner plays so basically exactly like playing for real. EDIT...is it possible to update and offer and end game option when bid is made to win??
2024-10-08 | Rob Dostie | Take my 2 star review back as you deserve no stars. You have the most rigged game I have ever seen. Difficulty does not matter 1 through 6 every game is EXACTLY the same. One ai will always bid high and make it every single time because they get a perfect hand every single time. 9 out of 10 games your highest card is a 10 or a J which is your only trump and instantly lost. Your trolls rigging a card game or incapable of making it fair. Be happy to screen shot 50 hands because always the same
2024-09-21 | Eric Ritchie | Love how you can customize the rules of the game to match what you used to play. The computer skills can be ramped up to make it a challenging game. My only wish is that your computer teammate skill could be increased to match yours. I swear when I play 6/7 level computer, my parenter is at a 2/3
2024-06-24 | Barbara Hazelwood | I am thoroughly enjoying the game, so far. Just learning, but everything is simplified & many options to choose from. The only thing I don't like about the game, is that there is no option to delete info collected from anyone downloading the game. This is the only game I have downloaded that doesn't allow that. I always play offline, so hopefully, nothing is collected...except for maybe now & during the original download. Great game!
2024-05-28 | Nico Suh | Overall, fun game! There is a variety of sets of Pitch game rules, and you can create your own with rule settings. There are also other ways to enhance game play, such as enabling auto-play so a card automatically plays if it is the only legal card. Tiebreakers seem to always be on, even if ties are allowed (I played Team Auction).
2024-05-27 | Bob Guy | This card game is VERY well done! Complete control of game rules and play! When playing either with partners or cutthroat!! Once the settings are chosen to your liking they can be saved. I've been a Cinch player all my life and this game of Pitch can be configured to all the variations of Cinch play. You can review each hand or replay that same hand to experiment with different outcomes. Great way to improve!! The visuals are outstanding! Smooth card play! Adjustable play strength. Thanks Devs!
2024-04-25 | Eric Anderson | Good, clean game. There are times where I think the computer suggestion is either bonkers or made with knowledge of my partner's hand... Either way, it distracts as I try to improve. Nevertheless, this has the least amount of interrupting ads and the competition is solid. The configurable options are extensive, so if you can't find a mode you like, you probably don't like pitch. Overall, a very nice way to learn the game and wile away some hours.
2024-01-07 | Kristen Plaza Martin | 2/2023 - Like the game, but please fix the algrithm for AI players. They are the worst players ever! Very frustating!! I would hope it's a pretty simple fix to reprogram their strategies. Thank you. 1/2024 Update - Minus 1 star. Stopped playing and came back. Have seen no improvement. Who leads out with the 2 or J of trump if they have other options??? Nobody!! Nobody wants that person as their partner. Please teach the computer how to play to win. Thank you. |
