2024-12-12 | E Gonzales | (TW: if you have personal experience with severe flooding, this may give bad memories, pls think it over) 1. Yes it does require Netflix subscription 2. MV1 has better story, MV2 has more challenging gameplay (strange that I finished MV3 quickly) 3. It's very pretty yes but it's too safe on the whole (gameplay and story), too eager to please corporate and not fully comment on climate change 4. You have to repeat a level if you get stuck and want to try again, not just that exact segment
2024-12-11 | danny westrom | Another installation of Monument Valley with the great visuals, soundtrack and puzzles. INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED that this is stuck with Netflix subscription and a very noticeable drop in performance with input delay and lower frames compared to the first two Monument Valley games, is otherwide great if you can look past all of that the whole time you play it. Would've rather paid the $3-5 to get this directly from usetwo games.
2024-12-11 | Sarah Cornthwaite | 👎👎I am so very disappointed to see that this game, that I had been looking forward to for ages, can only be played with a Netflix account. What a complete sell out the developer is for not keeping this game in line with the first 2 and trying to force people to spend money on a Netflix account in order to play. I don't want a Netflix account. Netflix and the developers are just greedy jerks for doing this. Enjoy your sell out money. What a massive disappointment. 👎👎
2024-12-11 | Joshua Joel | Love this game series soo much, I love the new characters and the art style. I did face a bug in chapter 5, at the end, but it got fixed when I left and came back to the lvl. I also there was some frame drops here and there. Hope the devs all the best for the coming chapters too.
2024-12-11 | Ladyemeline | I've been a fan of these games since the original, and this installment is no exception. The graphics are elegantly gorgeous. The music is soothing. The story is magical. It's a game that doesn't feel like a waste of time because it encourages your brain to think about things from different perspectives. Simple enough for kids, but also good mental exercise for adults.
2024-12-11 | Evelyn Hoenisch | the devs LISTEN, fixing things like the ending drawings from MV2. a perfect sequel to make a perfect trilogy. at first i was unsure about how lively the world felt, but now i feel like an archeologist experiencing time in reverse. as i dive into the lore of MV, I unearth more and more parts of their little isometric world, starting from their downfall in MV1. absolute perfection. although imo travelling in 3d on a boat feels illegal, like the view shift in an MV2 level 🤣
2024-12-11 | The Lucid Librarian | As a fan of the first two games (One that got my hands on the debug version of MV2), I absolutely ADORE this! My favorite level so far is the origami one, that is such a fantastic way to expand the series and gameplay! I love it so much! Ustwo games, if you read this, I hope Netflix is treating you well. - Lucid
2024-12-11 | Fission Chips | Fabulous game ruined by netflix exclusivity! What a shame to lock so many fans out of playing the third installment. Loyal fans waiting to purchase the game outright and not be tied to something they don't want (netflix). Sadly it's the future, subscription and owning nothing. Sadly the game it way too short, More levels are to come in April, Summer 2025. The third installment just leaves me feeling a little sad and disappointed. In time folk will forget about M valley and it's original beauty
2024-12-11 | Benzene | Exactly what I've come to expect from this series - gorgeous artwork, lovely background music, intriguing puzzles, imaginative gameplay, and a backstory that hints at a larger world. I just wish I didn't need a Netflix account to play it. I'm concerned that I will no longer be able to enjoy it if I cancel my membership.
2024-12-11 | Super wendy gamer girl | The story, new mechanics, interactions, the music the new puzzles, everything is just so perfect and I am so delighted that this game was made. I feel it is an excellent addition to the Monument Valley games. I was experiencing a bit of lag but from a game of this quality running on a phone it's understandable. I do hope there is a performance update in the future, other then that the game in my opinion is perfect ✨ |
