The Shadowscale
One of the best bite-sized strategy games on the market. Master the battlefield by knowing your enemy and using their own behaviors against them, pushing bugs into the ocean, or even using your own units as a strategic body-shield. If you like games like XCOM or Final Fantasy Tactics, you really can't go wrong with "Into the Breach"

Just incredibly fluid, satisfying, and handsome tactical gameplay. The variability in how a run can go with the starting squad alone would have warranted this game a good score, but the fact that it has so many diverse and nuanced options on top of that is amazing. The execution of everything that they try to do with this game is so clean and well crafted. Absolutely a game that is easy to pick up but difficult to master and it is so satisfying to work towards that mastery.

A phenomenal PC game, perfectly brought over to the mobile platform. Easy to learn, difficult to master. I find myself looking at a single turn for 30 minutes sometimes just trying to find the best way to approach a situation, and love every second of it. So many different combinations (mechs, weapons, maps, pilots, enemy spawns, attack patterns, drops, etc) that no two runs are ever really the same. 11/10

Masterpiece. Absolutely perfect. Endless replayability, simple, intuitive, yet challenging. Gameplay is rewarding and fun. Better than 100% of mobile game trash, and better than 99% of big studio slop for PC. Was excited to see it available on mobile. This and the dev's other game FTL are must plays, cannot praise them enough. Great games. 11/10 Edited to add; oh yea, and the soundtrack is fire. Seriously. Old War Machines and A.C.I.D. is on my daily playlist.

Fantastic strategy game! Beautiful design with just the right amount of challenge. Shame it is now currently kept behind a Netflix subscription (would happily purchase the game on its own), but that's the way it is. Only thing I would ask would be to have an option to turn off "double tap to confirm" since it can be easy to accidentally do it.

The perfect turn based tactics game. I have played many hours and it is a real learning experience to come up with new tactics and think of new ways you can use existing abilities to thwart the enemy. I have to knock off a star due to the Netflix subscription model though - I would love to be able to pay once to own this title.

One of the best mobile games period. Will garunteed make your mind work. But in that pleasant way that good games do it. Into the Breach is a puzzle game at heart, and a great one at that. The mechanics, mechs, and playstyle is 9/10. Netflix on the other hand... If you have a Netflix account then the process is much easier. Still, many people have run into authentication problems.

Netflix man. This is a fantastic game. I love it on PC. But this whole Netflix authentication thing cannot work for the life of it. Wi-Fi on and 5g on, 5g only, Wi-Fi only, doesn't matter. It can't get past the Netflix log in. Game devs, you have an amazing game. I'd pay again for this game. Netflix is screwing you guys over.

Good strategy, turn-based tactics game. I'm not thrilled about the Netflix requirement, but it's not a problem. The game (like FTL from the same developer) is both brutally difficult on Normal difficulty, but also highly addictive and relayable. Defeat is expected and common and you'll be back for more. Each level/stage is like a puzzle. Perfect mobile game.

Great game, probably one of my favorite games on my PC. Unfortunate that Netflix owns it and I can't buy it on Android outright but since I have Netflix already it's not a huge deal. But suddenly, today, it's not working on my Pixel 7 pro. Loads up, title screen flashes, then game exits out immediately. No updates recently. It just stopped working.
