Time marches on, and this (mock GPS) app still provides speed to nav apps at about double my actual speed (incorrect conversion from kph?) Third-party external gps apps work properly.

I am a volunteer Firefighter and recently retired Paramedic in a rural area of Southcentral Kentucky. I purchased the XGPS150 for a farming map app that turned out to be less than useful. I had stored the XGPS150 away and forgot about it until today. I installed the app on my Android phone and it works decent. I am disappointed that I have to re-set the format for speed and coordinate display every time I start the app. I do not have a need to leave it running in the background as I will only use it for the Fire service for the purpose of setting up landing zones for aeromedical helicopters. The app needs an update to save the set formatting.

Really happy with how easily it syncs, but settings (speed, altitude mock gps, etc) reset to default every time I open the app.

Works extremely poor with Samsung Galaxy s20. & Galaxy GPS works 10x better for 90% of applicants. Only bonus this has is refresh rate. Sometimes connects in 15+ attempts other times 2-3. Needs over 10-12+ satellite connections to give any kind of reading. You could leave this in an open field and it still won't connect to 12 satellites to give you a GPS coordinates, altitude or speedo... Useless for Galaxy users, it's programmed to work for crapple.
