2024-11-12 | TD Maker | It can be a great game, but depends on what you wish to get in return. Visually its great and the interfaces are top notch, imo, as well. The content has its ups and downs but has gotten much better in 2023/2024, imo. Drop rates, pull rates, gem costs, boosted lists, etc, need to be better. At the end of the day, never forget that this is just 1 aspect of a very healthy business, and their goal is to make a profit. Its nonetheless a great tribute to the story we all love with high replay value.
2024-10-22 | Emily Hoffman (Emily) | Fun!!! Tons of characters to collect! Perfect if you are a casual gamer and like collecting, or if you're a hard core player. It has something for everyone! Amazing characters with some in outfits/costumes we don't see in the anime. As One Piece does. Lots of puzzling strategy to figure out, and always a challenge to face. Many different gaming techniques and statistics to learn which are fun, and help boost you whether you're f2p or buy packs. Everyone's got a chance at equality.
2024-09-19 | Zombi Mold | A shell of it's former self. They no longer add new content except the same four grinding modes every month. It's also incredibly pay 2 win, forcing you to pull the new characters. If you don't, you have to spend literal hours longer on the same boring grind loop. It's tedious and repetitive, the creativity is completely drained. Go play bounty rush.
2024-09-08 | Prince Taylan | great game! It's a gacha game so I fully upstanding that before playing. the only gripe I have is that when tapping on something new, and I mean ANYTHING, that's when you have to download the resources for that thing. Example, if I tap on the characters story for the first time, it will tell me to wait a little bit while the story downloads.
2024-09-03 | Jose V | Hard to tell where to go when you get started, and all the guides they point to are over 2 years old, and some mechanics aren't in the game anymore. It's hard to tell what characters are good or whether or not auto power-ups messed up what you could get from doing it individually. Honestly, it's a harder learning curve than it needs to be. But animations are on point, and game play is fun when you get a hang of it
2024-09-02 | Theurgic | I've been playing since the 10th Anniversary, not very long. Realizing that the new units are already beginning to be obsolete. Making the hard work and the pull pointless. It would be better to just reset every big sugo fest and pull for new units. But what would be the point? There are way better games that offer way more content not set up to complete behind a pay wall.
2024-08-15 | Andrew Cofield | I would like to give 4-5 stars, but somethings didn't stick. For starters, backing up requires to connect sns via social media. I could not back up my original account when it 1st came out and lost my original account. Needs an easier way to backup when people get new phones for more storage for the game. Speaking of storage, I wish this app had the option to move some of the game onto a microSD card like other games do. Overall, it's an OK game that needs more Quality of Life featured.
2024-08-10 | Daniel Ramos | so far so good. just joined during the 10th anniversary event. the game is fun. I like the strategy required in team composition. however, as a new player, it has been a lot to take in. I'd recommend looking up YouTube videos if you get stuck! - 3 months later: The game is still fun! However, be prepared to grind to get new units. I wish Bandai did a better job at making more realistic rewards. So, I'm bringing it down from a 4/5 to a 3/5.
2024-08-07 | Joseph Hamby | Is fun, good way to get your Straw Hat Fix. But they nerfed character progression after a certain point for Free2Play customers. It used to be a lot easier to gather turtles needed for leveling up your characters. Although I will admit, they are generous with the gems (main in game currency), but seeing as you need them to get worthwhile characters, they need to be. Really fun and ADDICTIVE game.
2024-08-02 | pranav mehta | This used to be a fun game that was about creative team building (I've been playing since global launch). Now it's an increasingly p2w gacha game that's very frustrating for more casual players. The devs try new things every now and then, and give us some QoL improvements, but it always feels like one step forward and three steps back. There's very little interaction between the devs and players. Still, it's worth playing for a while if you like One Piece. The game has gorgeous character art. |
