2024-11-27 | Abdul Khalil | I'm mostly satisfied, It's a good app obviously. It helps you track your macros, keeps you healthy, and my favorite tracks your calories, but it is very limited to what you can do with it unless you pay. For instance, if you want to take a picture of a plate of food unless you pay for the app it won't work, so it's kind of hard to know your macros and stuff in that case and just a few other minor issues that's all, other then that I use it whenever I can and Highly recommend.
2024-11-27 | Bradley Bowman | Pro: Easy to use diet tracker. Large database of food, quick barcode scanner, and the ability to input custom foods w/macro info. Haven't used it to track exercise yet. Links with Fitbit easily, I'm sure it would with other fitness trackers/watches as well. Con: Limited functionality with free version. Premium isn't cheap at $19.99/mo or $79.99/yr.
2024-11-25 | shawn _ | The mobile app shows different quantities of carbs, proteins, and fats when looking at the food diary and nutrients table. It'll show something like 250g in the nutrients area, but 280g on the macro percentage area when it's actually a different quantity. It also shows innacurate amounts of macros in individual meals. I've tried to uninstall, restart my phone, log out, and resync my data and nothing has worked. It shows the proper data on the website but not in the mobile app.
2024-11-24 | Melanie Velez | I asked MyFitnessPal for help because the macro section of the app that totals up carbs per meal stopped being accurate. We use it to count carbs for our diabetic toddler, and it has made diabetes so much easier. No other app compared. You know what MyFitnessPal did? Revoked my access to the app because my son is too young for the intended use. Great. Thanks. I loved the app, but will no longer recommend to anyone. That was just pure evil on their part.
2024-11-23 | DanTawnya Roman | I loved (past tense) this app and have been using it since 2018 until last week. Now the most imortant part to me is not working. The steps copy over from day to day unless you walk more tham the day before and exercise calories are not calculating at all. I have tried all the support suggestions and nothing works. I paid for a year subscription and cannot use what I paid for. MyFitnessPal is now just a calorie counter. Very disappointed.
2024-11-21 | Kris Heckman | Now the app is continuously glitching. When I go to my steps, it automatically gives me the same steps from the previous day. I have to surpass the steps in order to get anything. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing has changed. Please fix these problems. This app started out great. Been using it since April. Lately it's been giving issues with updating my steps. Sometimes it takes forever till my steps are the same as my fitbit app. I'm getting disappointed, I do enjoy using it.
2024-11-21 | Niecy Conley | I only have the free version. And does everything needed. My only goal is to simply track my calories to ensure I stay on track for the day. I don't get into counting macros/ tracking carbs or anything that complicated. So I'm not too sure how those features work. But if you are a beginner or just looking to be more mindful about calorie consumption. Works perfectly Also, syncs great to Google Fit, so that's cool as well. 🙂
2024-11-21 | Anna | The update to the app that was supposed to fix the glitch I'm describing here was a short-term fix only. We are back to the problem described below. The app is not syncing with my Fitbit since the last update. It carries over the steps from the prior day rather than sinking in real time as it always has. Hopefully support will have the technicians look into this matter and send a fix that last longer than few hours. 😞
2024-11-20 | george metteer | This app has been great, but I have noticed their nutrition screen has been showing my grams of carbs and fiber way higher. For example: Adding up my individual carbs and fiber, the grams of carbs is showing 13 grams more than adding my food entries individually. Annoying for people calorie and carb counting. Possibly deadly for type 1 diabetics using this app. I tried contacting someone through the "contact" in the settings, and all I get is a mostly useless AI chat.
2024-11-20 | E V | Stopped syncing with my fitbit. Reached out several times and did all the uninstall and reinstall work arounds. When those didn't work, no one attempted to assist me further. I kept getting generic copy and paste answers as the "support" is just a program looking for key words and not a person. Don't waste your money for the premium membership, as you are not really assisted with issues. |
