2024-08-29 | Chris Lee | Simple to use, but you can't edit the video. I recorded one of a ~20 minute time frame at 10 frames per minute (one pic every 6 seconds). That's about 200 frames. Playback of that time lapse is 2 seconds. It would be nice to be able to adjust the playback speed so that your brain has time to comprehend what it just saw.
2023-07-21 | Scott Thompson | Bought the paid version. The test worked great in my office although I was still getting ads... Then went to use it on a job and the app kept shutting down and giving an error message that only popped up for a fraction of a second. I couldn't even read what the message was. Disappointed, cancelled subscription, and uninstalled.
2023-04-14 | Cynthia Berlin (Cyndi) | This used to be a great app and I like the feature that you can use other apps on your phone and answer calls or texts without the recording being interrupted. But now I'm lucky to get anything recorded even when it shows it's recording! Almost every time I use it, I sit recording for an hour on average and the result is the first second then the video ends! So frustrating I avoid opening it now. Thought after a few months of boycotting something changed today but no, still got 1s of 1hr
2023-03-24 | Card | Does it but at a cost. Ugh please label icons. Please make sub features easier to access and why does the screen have to stay on??? Videos must be uploaded to cloud account with no local storage?? Videos came out inverted upside down and no amount of rotation could fool the phone. So yeah, make this user friendly and battery friendly with local storage. If these are all options, then you did a poor job with ui. I've used computers for 32 years and this is where the app failed for me anyway.
2023-02-24 | Snimbus | Nice and simple. I liked it enough to pay for it to remove the ads. But even after paying for it the ads did not disappear! I contacted the developer but the email address is broken. Hopefully they'll see this review and fix the problem. Update: they still haven't contacted me and the app still periodically acts like I haven't paid for it. So that's annoying. Also the front camera doesn't work, only the back camera. I've tried this with two Samsung models.
2021-07-20 | IndieIndite | Ok, 1. No ads, thats amazing 2. An easy way to port to youtube, well done 3. No freemium tactics that ruin the app. Overall good, but these are the problems: 1. Photolapse photos are out of order 2. night viewing is a nightmare 3. i found a semifix to the photolapse problem, but the algorithm in which its sorted cant fricking count.
2021-03-17 | Mark B | Idk what to say...finally figured it out I thought, logged in, crossed my fingers, the moon lined up just right where it was working and I come back an hr later after project was done an nothing there. Didn't record and have nothing to show for it. App stopped working while going through menus and bs. Undependable and to complicated if you ask me...idk why it can't just be simple take series of pictures and be done. Why does it have to be logged in, post to this, in progress cross your fingers.
2021-01-12 | Eca Wasp | I was so upset!!! I wanted to use it to make a nail art video, but apparently it will only go for so long before stopping, and if you don't save your video immediately then it just throws it away with no warning and no way to save it! I thought I had it recording for over an hour (which was fine for previous apps I've used in the past!) But it ended up not getting any of it! 😡😡😡 do not use!!! I wish I could give it zero stars!
2020-09-04 | Willa C.E. | At first I liked it, but recently I tried to take a 15 minute sunset time-lapse and the camera kept turning dark. I thought it was just a sleep mode thing, but the video turned out all glitchy! Huge bummer! The screen dims to almost black for half a second, every 1-2 seconds. It completely ruined the video! Also, way too many ads.
2020-06-24 | Zach D. | Sparse features, but it works. For those confused by how to access your files, make sure to check your phone's gallery. Couldn't find a file gallery feature in-app. I only wanted to record a time lapse (didn't care how), so the social "share" and "upload" features weren't important to me. Luckily, too, because neither functioned on my device. Also, maybe I'm missing something, but there are very few options for recording. I only saw two settings for speed which lacks granularity. |
