| 2025-02-03 |  | | App has crashed for the past year whenever it views a barcode or QR code regardless of how many times I empty the cache, verify the permissions, force close/open, restart phone, etc. garbage camera app, fails to complete anything beyond the most basic task of taking a photo, also fails at the basic task of taking a photo if a barcode or QR code is present near the subject of your photo. |

I always know when an update happens because when I (try) to take a picture, the camera will shut down automatically as soon as the shutter button is pressed. I ALWAYS roll back the update because if not, I'll never be able to take a picture. This camera is the main reason that I purchased the phone. If you can fix that...that would be great. Edit: I take a picture, I immediately go to look at the picture, I see the picture as I took it, and then it processes and the colors have shifted, some things have blurred, etc. I KNOW other people have complained about this for years based on my searches. I will not be reaching out more. |

This one doesn't take any at all even with night vision turned on along with hdr. The day time photos are great. But there need to be major improvements to night vision. I like taking life light/night photos due to some really cool things I see like sunsets. Please do something about this issue. Is rate 5 start of the camera was better. |
| 2024-12-15 |  | | I have to take a lot of pictures for work, and am unable to most of the time due to the app CONSTANTLY force closing itself every time I try to take a picture. I can have the app open for five seconds or ten minutes. As soon as I tap capture it just stops. Every time. |

It'll open the camera and work just fine (sometimes when I take a picture it won't save it for some reason) and when I swipe to the video option it says that some other app is using video resources and that I need to close that app and try again. I've tried after a fresh restart, I've cleared the cache and done everything else to no avail. Really disappointed. |
| 2024-12-10 |  | | Camera locked up at Disneyland this week. I cannot tell you how annoyed I am at this. The screen goes black and when I try to takes screen shot, I get a notice stating that taking a screen shot of the black screen has been "disabled by your admin." I restarted the phone, shut the phone entirely off, and reset the camera, none of which worked. I used to like Motorola phones, but after a couple of "new" features were introduced and proved to be worthless, I will not purchase another one. |

Unfortunately... 7/25/23 I don't know what you mean. 12\3\24 I didn't trust my camera to take quick photos because it starts out blurry and it takes a bit to get it to focus!... Very sad when you want to capture grandkids doing something funny! I've learned to not trust it any longer. |
| 2024-12-01 |  | | Update 12/1/24: I can no longer use the camera. It just hangs on a black screen. The camera takes the picture, and as soon as I click on the icon of the picture I just took, the picture doesn't exist and is instead replaced with a picture that was taken about 5 seconds after the picture I wanted to take. The camera also lets me know it's processing. I don't know what that means, but for me on my phone, it means the photo I just took is being automatically deleted. Not handy. |

I get an update 5x a week for the same Google apps because they're always improving and fixing bugs. The quality when it does take pictures is decent enough, but I'm tired of it freezing and I miss my shot. |
