I love having Moodle as an app on my phone so I can quick recheck the school schedule and I get reminders of assignments due as well as having the syllabus and outline available. Very easy to use, very streamline!

I live in the US, but I teach in Liberia. I can only be on campus one semester a year, so Moodle allows me to teach all year long. The app is especially valuable because only about two or three of my students have computers, but almost everyone has a mobile phone. Especially valuable is the way that Moodle can work offline. In liberia, the electricity is off 20-30% of the time, and students can only Access Wi-Fi when they are on campus. The Moodle app makes learning possible!

Sometimes interrupting the download of a file from your course will cause it to permanently get stuck in a download loop that won't let you download the file ever. So you'll then have to boot up the web version to download the file...
