2024-11-11 | Pam | A technical problem has forced me to lower the rating. Even though my subscription is up-to-date, I get frequent notices that I need to renew. If I ignore them, I get 50 fewer points per win and ads are turned on. There is a fix, but it doesn't last. Support has closed the ticket without finding a lasting solution. I have played other versions of Freecell, but find this to be the best, even in view of the above. Difficulty ranges from very easy to unsolvable so there's always a challenge.
2024-11-08 | Sarah Dougan | I understand that adds are necessary to keep the app free, but I don't understand why the adds have to turn off my phone's volume instead of just pausing whatever is playing. It's extremely annoying as I am usually listening to a book while I'm playing, and miss portions at a time because of this. A simple adjustment to pause the media like every other app would improve the quality significantly. Edit: developer addressed the issue. Thank you!
2024-11-07 | Cheryl McKinney | I think the problem is the ad for Words with Friends. Had same problem in another game with this ad. Even if I hit X, it will take me to its app. So I tried hitting the arrow because the ad, many times, will not move. It may take me to the app or to its next page with an X. But when you hit the X, it may take you to the app again or crash, and I have to open the program again. Please don't ask for a screenshot. My phone won't take one.
2024-10-09 | SUSAN Skidmore | I find the Norton ad that sounds the emergency alert to be totally obnoxious and offensive. I do believe you mobility know the ad. SHADY.....what is with this....I'll be in the middle of a game and my screen will automatically go to a survey! How intrusive! I understand the need for ads and revenue is necessary! But, this goes to a different level...bad!
2024-09-12 | Chris Peterson | Had been playing this game for years but they just kept going further and further with the ads. It's to the point where it's unbearable. I would use this game to wind down at the end of the day which is crucial for my profession. The ads have become so bad that I can't even do that anymore because the ads are annoying and plentiful so I just end up more frustrated after trying to play. DO NOT INSTALL. Just get a deck of cards because I've tried all of the free cell aps and they are all like this
2024-08-27 | J L | I used this app for years and loved it. Yes, the adds between games are plentiful and annoying but you can get past them if you click carefully. However, when I went to play most recently, I saw that they added an ads banner DURING gameplay 😢 it's totally distracting to me when I try and play. And I'm not crazy about the idea of a recurring fee to play a simple card game without ads, so I uninstalled it. Bummer.
2024-08-23 | Mike Noviskie | Have played this game for years, and been a subscriber for years. Now, the game keeps forgetting my subscription (was just charged for renewal last week). I uninstall and reinstall, and the next day it forgets the subscription again. Support tells me to remove my Google account from my phone and put it back--very disruptive to all the work apps I use! Not an option. The problem is not with the Google account on the phone; it's with this software. Please fix it; the game play itself is excellent.
2024-08-12 | Robin Miller | MobilityWare has been saying for a while that my old version of Free Cell must be updated even though my old version works as well for me as a new version. In order to force this they have removed the tap to move feature. I still see ads but apparently not enough. Nope, I will delete their game. Corporate greed seems to know no bounds. It is time to delete their games.
2024-08-08 | James Harris | Y'all had to fix a non-broken thing... Game was great a month(ish) ago, even though it's a 'pay huge subscription charges to prevent ads' scheme, it was fun. Daily challenge working to a monthly goal and weekly challenge board for a sticker:excellent for the audience of people who might download 'Free Cell.' Now, the challenges are garbage and a turn-off and you are making it even more uncomfortable to avoid paying the subscription. Over Free cell, lol Bleepety-bleep my bleep
2024-07-13 | Sistah W | I've had enough of the annoying ads. I liked the game initially. It was a leisurely pace. Now the deals repetitive, redundant and boring, especially in the event section. A skip button must be an option. Some games are stupidity repetitive...hate that. No I'm not jumping through hoops to figure out YOUR problem. When I "replay" a deal more than twice, I refuse to play that particular deal. Either allow me to skip it for a new deal or I will uninstall this game. |
