2024-09-27 | Nathan Beck | A really great game. Graphics and art are beautiful, great story, fun character. My only complaint is the pay to play (I don't spend money on Play store app games and never will, I'd rather just watch ads) and the controls are kind of erratic and all over the place, so if you dont time your moves and tap the screen just right, you're kind of screwed. It's not smooth with good combat control like Swordigo is, for example. Not a bad game though.
2024-04-29 | Giles Philip Collings | Great 2D platformer. Excellent graphics, story, cut scenes and fantastic controls! It reminds me a bit of the Donkey Kong Country games with the characters weight and movement set, as well as the general style. But best of all, NO; ads, micro transactions, or pay to win! Play the first world for free, if you like it, buy the game, simple! This is one of the best mobile games out there and I wish there were more developers making this kind of quality game for mobile.
2022-03-28 | Esme W Vimes | One of those diamonds I've spent months searching for. Hours of searching for games, I can enjoy & understand is so frustrating. I do have Google's playpass. The game was free, and no ads. I've only started playing this game & I'm thrilled. I love the story of Norse mythology told & illustrated brilliantly, which transitions into game play w music, graphics, & the controls are simple even on my little phone. I'm really happy I found this game.
2021-05-30 | Empyrean | I love this game and it's truly amazing. However, I can't play any levels after reinstalling the game. I paid for the full version and wanted to revisit it again after beating the game. I have an internet connection and but the level files refuse to download. Edit: after trying what was recommended to me everything works great. Thank you.
2020-10-17 | Ta N K | I really want to give this game 5 stars...its beautifully drawn, really fun in a light hearted way, and the animated story elements make it really unique. And I would have if I'd rated on level 1 or 2, but as i've progressed into the game i have to give it 3 stars for the tedious controls. Locked controls or adding a controller would really help with this, but its frustrating when the level is only difficult because of unpredictable controls.
2020-08-28 | anwar morse | This is a Rayman legends homage...I am tempted to call it a clone, but it does such a good job that would be unfair. It looks beautiful and does have elements that go beyond the Rayman-esq parts. One of those elements is the story. The story execution is top notch. There are also weapon upgrades but having played just the first few levels I haven't experienced enough of that aspect to feel one way or another about it. In short, great game!
2020-06-04 | Aaron Bloomquist | I was tempted to give it 4 stars on account that sometimes the controls can be a little unresponsive. But I have to volunteer that could be my own fault. The graphics/animation are awesome and just plain adorable. And the gameplay is fun addictive. Wish there were more games like it. Just finished Midgard. Looking forward to the rest. Well done. Cheers!
2020-03-07 | A Google user | This game is amazing. Hands down one of, if not the best mobile games I've ever played and I'm not even done with it. The story line is interesting, the art and visuals are all amazing, and the voice overs and sounds effects are sweet. The levels are fun and challenging and don't feel too hard or too easy. I never review games, it always feels like a waste of time, but I liked this game so much I feel bogus not giving it a good review. A refreshing game in a app store filled with monotony.
2020-02-24 | A Google user | The most wonderful mobile game I have ever played. This game really surprised me. Everything from the gameplay to the visuals, the progression, the narration, it's all really perfect. Also the game supports a controller which makes it a blast to play through and enjoy a clean screen without buttons showing up. Really amazing. Great job!
2020-01-02 | A Google user | An awesome game and one of the best I've played on Android in my opinion. If there was one thing that I could recommend it would have to be the controls. The attack and jump button should be the other way around. You should jump by tapping the screen and swipe to attack. This was so counter intuitive that I couldn't train my brain to swipe forward to jump and tap to attack so I had to turn the on-screen controls on. Maybe it's just me and this is the reason I still have the game 5 stars. |
