2024-11-18 | Jackson Pesola | Best File Manager on Android! The UI is great! I think MT Manager has a few niche features I miss, but this is definitely my main manager now. A couple of suggestions I have is that I would love a way to rearrange the icons on the "Home" page if possible, especially to reorganize certain shortcuts by "Type" instead of letting the app decide. And for the built in vid/img viewer, if possible to remove the flashing of the home screen when you exit the viewer. That one might be OneUI's fault though.
2024-11-17 | Eric Merrill | The best file manager, archiving utility, network share browser, batch renaming tool, metadata viewer and more, available on Android. Has been for many years. Wouldn't even consider recommending any alternatives. Leaps and bounds above stock Android Files app, but also brings such a useful combination of features and tools to the table that the other third party file apps lack. Top it off with a fully skinnable interface and root user support and it's a no brainer: Every new device gets MiX.
2024-10-11 | John Walker | I installed and then bought this long ago, but never took the time to learn it. I also had several others installed, 4 or 5, that each did something the others didn't. But I had to do something today that those couldn't do, so I got into MiX. After about an hour and a half of using it, I uninstalled all but this guy. Almost unbelievably intuitive and functional. It truly does blow all the other big guys away.
2024-09-28 | Andrew N | Nothing beats it. I heard so much praise for solid explorer but I felt it kinda sucked, just trying to move a file to another folder was a pain in the tuckus and it looks boring and ugly and flat. Mixplorer is so much easier to use and has better themes especially the Dracula theme. Plus, it has so many useful tools.
2024-09-17 | Kyle Knox | This is by far the most powerful file manager ever made for Android. Honestly, probably the best out of ANY file manager I have ever used. Period. First of all, the theme options ans setting's are so plentiful it can get overwhelming but if you're a sucker for customizations then you'll feel right at home. Every single color of everything you see on your screen down to the scroll bar color. All of your storage from almost any provider and I've never had one single issue with opening a file!
2024-09-05 | Westin Ellis | Absolutely amazing file manager. I used to file manager hop before settling on this app, going from ES to Solid Explorer to this. This does what those did and way more. I do have a few issues though, like the media player going to the beginning of a song when switching apps to it. I also really wish MiX had Pixeldrain support as a person who uses that platform a lot. Other than that though, it's the best file manager on the Play Store. Definitely worth supporting.
2024-08-05 | Karl Stenerud | Okay, wow! I was so disappointed when ES file manager became utter garbage, but this file manager blows even the best version of ES file manager out of the water! Super intuitive and easy to use. Super powerful. Tabbing is awesome. Super responsive. Just pay the 5 bucks and don't even think about it. It's that good.
2024-06-19 | Juan R. | Excellent file manager. Best all around and some more. Had an issue with latest update and the lock screen. Dev was quick to respond. However, after following the recommendation, the issue persisted. I just went ahead reset the app and started fresh. All is working smoothly. Lesson: backup your app setting and theme setup.
2023-10-28 | Wil Steele | Great app. I've used it ever since the last one I used was bought by a less than reputable company. Anyway my issue is, when I rename Mix to 36Mix, that it will appear in my app drawer, where I want it. This app keeps reverting the name back to mix. No other app does this so I'm hoping it can be fixed. Thanks for a great app that really is able to do more than most other file managers.
2023-09-04 | Jeff Lange | This is the best file manager for Android. I used the XDA version for years but got silver to support the developer. The interface is clean but powerful, and the add-ons add capabilities not found in most file managers (especially the SMB one to mount a remote file system from my NAS) this is one of those "if you know, you know" apps that everyone SHOULD have, and is one of the first five apps I install on any new device. That it only has 50k downloads is a travesty. |
