2024-08-15 | Alexander Cantlow-Pallant | A useful tool to teach Japanese mahjong, which is essential to achieve 100% in many Yakuza games.
2024-01-05 | El La | The "lessons" are presented as a dialog between 2 girls - which means reading unnecessary comments. I would've much rather preferred a simple presentation. It starts telling you to discard tiles before even explaining how the tiles are distributed or how they are set on the table. This is a detail, but when they are talking why is the background a library and not majong parlor? The names of the hands used are all mixed up, English, Japanese, Chinese, all together. No settings whatsoever.
2023-08-18 | Eslam Badr | It's my first Mahjong game I played. It's not just simple in learning but it's good and interesting too .. I enjoyed the character, the arts and the game in all. There's one suggestion.. can you make the tiles appear in the yaku list under the name of it .. because it'll be good at searching. Thanks for your funny game.
2023-08-01 | M F | The sleeper. The graphics are comically basic, the text has numerous grammatical errors, but by God this app can teach you mahjong. More than a few videos have failed me, but this app, this unassuming app... It showed me how to play in a satisfying and easy to approach method. If you're trying to learn how to play mahjong, look no further. Get over yourself, you don't need cutting edge 3D 4K graphics, everything you need is here.
2023-05-11 | Arthur Baldwin | Visually, the easiest Ihave tried for viewing the tiles and the easiest to understand. The only problem is the glitches, such as when a khan is available on the real player's opening hand and the program goes in a loop of only offering nonexistent khans after the first one. Annoying when the other players can khan whenever. Or where it offers riichi but still marks the refusal of riichi with a turned tile on the board. Other times, 7 copies of a tile have turned up on the board.
2023-04-27 | Dawn Hoss | Very frustrating. Hard to win. Always gave me wind or those Kanji tiles. Very easy for ai to richii within few steps. Seems ai always got tiles they needed, and gave the junk to me. And if I richii, the ai, sometime immediately got richii too and almost surely ai will won the round. Felt scripted. Felt cheated. Need more explanation inside yaku list.
2022-04-29 | Luna | It's a little janky but in the charming sort of way. I like to practice mahjong with robot oponents, because sometimes I get embarrassed to warm up by playing badly with strangers so- this is perfect. The school aspect seems fine to me also.
2021-12-15 | Justine | The game has pretty decent AI players and a nice, simple UI, but has several issues. When AI players win, sometimes tsumo is displayed instead of Ron and vice versa. Game doesn't end when a player goes into negative. Cannot riichi after closed Kan. When you are dealt a quad you can call Kan on every tile. Overall not bad, but has issues that need ironing out.
2021-03-11 | Eldsin Koftgar | No glitches that I encountered. But not truly able to instruct an absolute beginner to the game. 1st, There were no back buttons in the lesson segments, which is very frustrating. 2nd, it is seemingly written for an English speaker, but the dev assumes we know some of these words and neglects to define all of them. 3rd, the devs need to clean up the many many grammar and spelling errors. It's not impossible to understand, but it prevents your product from easily reaching its target audiences.
2020-10-03 | Craig | I have played this game for a couple of hours so far and I am enjoying it now that I have an idea of how to play the game. The reason I'm not giving the game 5 stars is because the tutorial kept freezing sometimes and I couldn't undo my actions when making a mistake so I had to close the app and reopen it to try again. Definitely worth downloading if you're interested in Mahjong and want to learn how to play. PS. I used this app to help play Mahjong in Yakuza 0 lol. |
