It's amazing what a difference this app has made in my Japanese practice. The focus on comprehensive examples rather than memorization and tests makes lessons more engaging and rewarding. The UI has a few quirks but it gets the job done. Please stop using AI images though. They cheapen the experience.

The free trial doesn't let you do anything. Tried to do the very first lesson for Korean Fundamentals and I'm locked out. I guess the "free" trial is only to let you look around, but I can't even try it out to know whether I want to pay the sub.

i have been wanting to learn korean for SO long, but i also realized "oh i cant just understand everything just because i know the alphabet" and i came from akidearst's video because i ALSO wanna learn japanese, and i also love watching k-dramas and anime, so this has been REALLY helpful, thank you SO SO SOOOO much for this wonderful app!!

Expired before even trying it. Too many other options to make this pay wall worth a second look.

No free trial! Wanted to try this out before deciding if I want to pay for it, but it asks for a subscription immediately! Uninstalled.

Can't express how powerful this tool is. Devs are extremely active and transparent about progress and there are frequent updates. It makes me want to learn more languages

Migaku allowed me to finally try sentence mining for language learning after years of trying other methods and it really helped! My only complaint/request would be that they allow sending cards from the Migaku Memory app to Anki, that way I would use the app much more, besides the extension.

Migaku is by far the best way to do immersion learning without going to another country. I've been a subscriber to migaku since the company was founded, and I've used their product suite to learn over 10,000 words of Japanese. I mostly use the browser extension, but the android app is nice if you like flashcards, and it has some nice features like great lessons and OCR. The team also plans to support mobile immersion, and they usually follow through. Migaku's great.

Long time user of Migaku's toolset for the past few years. I can now read novels, watch TV shows, and listen to podcasts...all in Mandarin. It won't do the work for you, it still takes a considerable amount of time to learn a language (especially for Asian languages), but Migaku will ensure that your study time is spent actually studying the language. The team is incredibly responsive on Discord and are passionate about their product.

I've been following this app (and its predecessor) for a long while, and it is by far the most useful language learning tool available. The dev team are all very friendly and extremely helpful should you have any issues. A great idea, powerfully executed by a passionate team. You can't go wrong supporting them if you're in the market for language learning tools 😊
