I can no longer distinguish the teams notifications. It's only playing the general android notification selected on my cell and I can't find any information on how to select an individual sound for teams. Help please! |
| 2024-11-22 |  | | Now we don't have any way to attach a file to a chat message at all?!!! I am not getting any notifications for some messages. This has been happening for almost 2 years, and still not fixed. All my chats are not showing up. I have to constantly sign out and back in just to see all my messages. Can't do a very simple and basic task like copying some text, like an address or phone number, from a chat message. It only copies the entire message. Fix your app Microsoft!!!!!! This app is garbage |

Hi battery drain, super unfriendly interface, constant random need to authenticate, interface components sometimes there, sometimes not. If I could give it negative stars I would. UPDATED 11/19/24: It has gotten worse! Now I need to repeatedly authenticate two or three times back to back, multiple times each day, even when I'm in a call. Terrible! I thought it couldn't get worse but it did! |
| 2024-11-15 |  | | MS keeps adding things that are unneeded and not customizable - like the "discovery" button. I've also noticed using more than one Teams account is not a great experience. You can have a personal Teams account and a Business and the notifications are terrible to deal with. *Update they made it so you can customize a little more on the desktop (like getting rid of 'discovery') so hopefully this will come to the app. |

Also while using WiFi if I'm speaking to someone, if I move 5 feet in any direction it loses the call without telling me. If I leave the building while speaking with someone the call usually drops instead of switching to cellular. |
| 2024-10-30 |  | | From a company as large as Microsoft, I expect better. On both my S22 Ultra and S24 Ultra, I can't change the ringtone for incoming calls. Yes, I have notification categories enabled. I see the "Calls" category, but this only changes the Notification sound of the pop-up, and only plays once. There is absolutely no way to change the RINGTONE settings for Android version of Teams, at least not on newer Samsung devices. The very quiet default Teams ringtone is useless and causes missed calls. |

There are times it sends right away, other times it sends 2-3 hours later, and sometimes it never sends but gives an error a few hours later that it can't send. Meetings usually work, but every now and then not. And then sometimes I get the message notifications with content, but they don't show in the actual chat. I've had the same issues off and on for a few years, on multiple devices. Instant chat is basic internet 101. But Teams can't do that. |

Spell check mess up typing everytime now and it won't go away without inserting text in the middle of word making a mess. Updates always break communication without any any prompt from the user |
| 2024-10-28 |  | | I am able to access most Teams features successfully through the app. Although my settings are set to use dark mode, it frequently glitches with combined light and dark display until I close the app and open it again. Messages that I have read on my desktop app frequently continue to show as unread on the mobile app. Often, opening messages on the mobile app do not mark the messages as read and I have to manually mark them read. The app could use work. |
| 2024-10-21 |  | | Good for what it's for, annoying for it's over-running of the share menu, it's like it removes your ability to share with your standard message app because it thinks it needs every shortcut in the books on a menu that it shouldn't be allowed more than one space!!! Microsoft you should seriously reconsider trying to run everyone's entire lives and realize you are only a piece of a larger puzzle, not the main picture! |
