I am A+ and Net+ and Microsoft Endpoint Certified. I have tried allowing RDP through my firewall and router. I have tried pinging the device I want to reach and and able to reach it. I have tried using both local and Microsoft accounts. I've tried resetting passwords. I have done a ton of Googling errors. I've done everything I can. I want this app to work. But it simply does not work. One positive thing is that the app's GUI is simple. So a star is added for that.

It works great for what I need! I didn't plan to use this for anything other than quickly viewing files that were on a remote machine. Nothing crazy and now I have a great backup. Paired with Tailscale, I can even remote while away from the network. The display on my Pixel Fold is the ideal viewing experience too

Still a miserable experience. Doesn't matter if you connect locally or over VPN, to physical or virtual hardware. It works great when it works, but all to often the session freezes or goes blank to a spinning circle. The you have to force stop the app and relaunch. This is unacceptable, Microsoft!
