No longer "FREE". As this has been automatically bundled into Microsoft 365 and requires an active Subscription to use as almost all features are intentionally disabled if you Microsoft 365 product is inactive or subscription or trial expired. ***ALSO REQUIRES A MANDATORY CREDIT CARD FOR MANDATORY SUBSCRIPTION '***** Something Microsoft intentionally fails to disclose in the EULA

I use this app every day and have been for many years. I keep file links on my home screen. But one day, when I opened the document I use most frequently, I discovered that it was gone or moved or deleted. All attempts to find the document were in vain. I did everything I could, but... nothing. I spent a couple of months restoring it. And yesterday, the same file disappeared. The link cannot be opened and so on. I am urgently planning to look for an alternative!

10/24/2024 Update: Since your latest update, all the pie charts in my spreadsheets are appearing bottom side up!?! All other charts seem to show correctly. Update: You folks do listen! The previous problem has been corrected! Thank you! Since the last update, I have been unable to unhide "hidden" spreadsheets. When I attempt to do this, my "hidden" spreadsheets are not even visible. Please correct.

I love this app. It has been great to be able to work on a file and then if I'm or I can quickly access it on my phone and update it BUT as of the last couple of weeks when I open any files on my phone or said "read only"and won't allow me to access it except for when I'm at home on my laptop. It's very inconvenient. If there is a fix up change my rating back to a 5.

The Microsoft Excel mobile app is an excellent tool for managing data on the go. Its intuitive interface makes it easy to create, edit, and organize spreadsheets from anywhere. I love the cloud sync feature, which allows seamless access across all my devices. It's perfect for quick calculations, data tracking, and managing budgets or projects. Highly recommend for anyone needing a portable, yet powerful, data solution!

Mediocre at best. Good luck trying to use a stylus. It'll register maybe one out of 20 tries. When it does register, you'll have to do it in one go or the app will stop recognizing it. Sometimes cells just won't work at all. You have to exit the entire app and reload the save to make changes again. It's really frustrating since this app "claims" to do these things well, when it really doesn't. The apps the come with Samsung are better. I gave it 2 stars because when it does work, it's alright.

I like that it is not Google. I had years worth of documents and notes go missing one day. I came to terms with the fact that I needed to restart all of the work I was in the middle of with less of it on Google apps. I had already been using the One calendar app because of calendar issues I experienced with Google. I think the only way to protect these apps from clearing out your memory for you is by only having one account linked and by making sure there's enough memory available.

Excel is one of my favorite applications. It is great for making budgets, reports, inventory lists, and other charts. I even made a chart to keep track of family and friends' anniversary dates that I can update by changing one cell to the current year. I enjoy the tools and the freedom of customizing the look and functions of my Excel Sheets and Books.

literally could not even use it one time. It requires sign in just to view a file (idiotic). Would never send a code to my email (even trying different accounts), and then kept telling me I already had an account so I should sign in, but when I try to sign in, it just takes me back to that same page. Pretty awful performance from what should be a well-vetted app.

While it is convenient to have on the go, and while the app functions well for what it is capable of, the functionality is severely limited. An expanded feature set to somewhat pair up with the full application isn't just a "wish list" sort of concept for my uses. When attempting Data Science, Programming, or Biz Administration work I run into walls everywhere. Limited to short lists and brief math it still chafes me, but with patience and extra effort: it just might do the job. 3.2 - 3.5 stars.
