2024-11-30 | Jeremy Yen | Nice launcher. I actually prefer it over the pizel launcher. The only problem is that this launcher does have a tendency to crash or lock up here and there on the Pixel 6. I dislike the pixel launcher because of the search box and the glance on the homescreen. It wastes too mcuh space. Using a third party launcher that isnt more native just doesnt allow a great experience. Its good, just not great.
2024-11-27 | Cassie Marie | I'm still getting used to having all these options in a launcher, only bc it's so very different from what I have used in the past....but I am really enjoying how much more customizable this is! It's a lot of fun to personalize everything so much! Also, the fact that Microsoft makes so many other useful apps that all mesh together within this launcher is just awesome! I am loving it!
2024-11-24 | David Mingle | This is my first time using and sticking with a different launcher than what my Pixel originally came with. The stock launcher is nice but this Microsoft launcher just takes the Android experience to a whole new level. It flows smoothly, allows for way more customization, and the options available to users are plentiful. I'm always skeptical using third party anything but this is Microsoft. This isn't some third party developer that you have no idea who it is. I recommend trying it out!
2024-11-21 | Donna Reed | I love this launcher. I recently moved to Moto power 5 g phones from Samsung and saved a 1000 bucks. I did not like the Moto launcher and I have used other launchers in past, I figured it had to be better than the Moto launcher and it is, a million times better. The Microsoft Launcher does everything the Samsung Launcher does and more. My fav feature is the daily wallpaper the changes your keyboard, widgets, texts and notifications to a matching color. ODC Heaven.
2024-11-20 | Ryan Cannon | Really great launcher and I prefer it over one ui because it is more customizable even with good lock. Only complaints are it eats at your battery more than the default launcher and the icon badges don't stay when you swipe away for some apps. Apps like Twitter and YouTube it stays but messages the badge goes away after you swipe the notification away. Probably partially samsung and the app developers' fault for that, but it bothers me still.
2024-11-15 | Jonathan Bach | Excellent! After install, remember to press and hold on a blank part of screen, choose Add Widgets, and add the little six-dots ("Apps") widget to your screen to easily access ALL apps. One ASK: It would be great if the re-sizable widgets in the Feed/Glance could be placed next to each other, on the same row ... otherwise, why re-size them? Update Nov 2024: New Samsung A54 Phone often non-responsive on opening so switched to default phone launcher and all is OK. Will miss my MS Launcher.
2024-11-15 | Michael DeJesus | The Microsoft Launcher is excellent. I initially tried the launcher years ago and ended up being quite disappointed with it, even though I really wanted to like it. I decided to give it a try again since it had been a while and I am very happy to give this launcher 5 stars now. The lagginess and non-responsiveness of previous versions is gone and the multitude of launcher settings/options is excellent.
2024-11-14 | Ken Andrews | Galaxy s23 ultra -- I'm taking a star off. Lately, I've been having an issue that prevents the launcher from moving off of your home screen, and won't let you swipe up to open your app drawer. Not even the quick drawer on the bottom. The fix is easy. It'll still let you swipe down to bring down your notification windows so I can get into settings. From there, force closing and opening MS launcher fixes everything. But I've gone from once a week to 2 or 3 times a day.
2024-11-11 | Joseph Wells | Very good launcher alternative especially if you use Microsoft products. (Feature suggestion: It would be better if you could access the app drawer from the right side of the screen when you have vertical page scrolling turned on, in stead of having to scroll all the way to the bottom to get to the app drawer.)
2024-11-08 | W B | After updating to Android 14, I frequently run in to an issue where opening a folder on the home screen doesn't show any folder/apps. However, if you click where the apps should/would be it will open the app. Update - this issue still exists on android 15. Force stopping pixel launcher or Microsoft launcher temporarily fixes it. |
