| 2024-11-25 |  | | It doesn't scan correctly anymore, and when it does the answer is a 50/50 if it is false or not. It literally won't scan, or will answer a question that I didn't take a picture of. Also 75% of the time, the answers are wrong more recently, if it scans, it will usually redirect you to Google Lens, if I wanted to use lens, I would, but Lens can't do graph questions, or answer them when I have having trouble with Khan academy. I used it in 2022 and it was much better, but is worse now in 2024. |

God forsaken 5.84 dollars a month for the yearly deal(the cheapest offer as well), with 69 dollars paid UP FRONT. I sincerely request that whoever is reading this to not get the subscription as subscribing would support this horrid system and for whoever had unfortunately bought it to cancel asap. |
| 2024-09-27 |  | | This is a good app except for alot of problems it doesn't solve like word problems graphs and anything that isnt a standard equation laid out. Sometimes it works with graphs and other times it doesn't. So basically this app can't do geometry. Also if the problem can't be solved by photo math takes me to the Google lens app which doesn't even help. Even if it did what would be the point in having this app. |

Your frame for adjustment is actually terrible and doesn't even reach side to side of most of not all phones, you can't use the app sideways, it doesn't actually solve the problems half the time due to the image recognition being terrible. Overall Google is still far behind where it should be. Genuinely done using android devices. |

Even though the answers to odd-numbered questions are in the physical book, they still get those questions wrong. It also doesn't help that you have to pay to get an explanation. I'd much rather just watch ads. Another problem is with connection. Says to check my connection, but my connection is fine. It's extremely annoying. |
| 2024-03-01 |  | | Anytime where I feel like I messed up on a problem or just want to be safe, I check it with this. It has not failed me yet. I haven't bought the subscription to this and I likely never will because I just find it unnecessary. When I have to teach myself and can't find a video, this is my go-to. Scan a problem-work on a different problem with the same steps-check answer-repeat until you can do it without it. This app is not just for cheating or lazy work. I've used this thing to genuinely learn. |
| 2024-02-25 |  | | I genuinely love this app. mostly because it doesn't just tell you the answer. it breaks it down into steps. if you want a more in-depth explanation you do have to pay for a subscription but it doesn't leave you high and dry either. it just gives a ground level explanation. it can't do word problems, unfortunately, but it can still do lots of numerical problems. i'd definitely recommend this app for math help/problems. |

It solves a lot of different types of equations and very helpful, and im glad there is no limit to how many problems i can ask, unlike a bunch of other apps it wants me to pay after like 5 questions. It would be really cool if they were more inclusive to word problems, and getting the equation from a photo of a graph would be pretty cool. Otherwise, such an amazing app. |

And the second one is that a lot of the time photomath can't solve difficult word problems. But otherwise it's very easy to use, just take a picture of a problem and boom there's your answer. So overall, great app with some minor flaws. |
| 2023-03-01 |  | | After trying it, calling this a free app seems disengenuous. Many times the solution you want will only be available in the step-by-step mode and that's in plus only. I wanted to use this check my answers while graphing inequalities. No answer, just the step-by-step teaser and an attempt to get $10 a month or $70 a year. If you're willing to pay that, it seems to work well. I'm not. I uninstalled and found a different app to use. |
