2024-12-16 | J M | Since Verizon announced the removal of their message app, I have searched for free apps with a TRUE "broadcast" capabilities. Being a pastor, I broadcast messages on weekly basis to different ministries. This app satisfies that requirement. However, the sound notification assignment for contacts does not work as intended.
2024-12-12 | Michelle Thiebold | I HATE that verizons msg+ shut down. It was the absolute BEST app ever! I tried so many others & believe me...they all suck! What i really miss was the customization msg+ had to offer. Being able to assign different notification sounds to people rather than the same for everyone. I knew who was texting without looking. And i liked that u could have a default background as well as custom background for individuals. This is as close as i found. If they made a few changes id give 10 ⭐'s. Recommend
2024-12-06 | Vicki Meek | Like many others, I needed to change my verizon text messaging..sad. This app is the best I could find as a replacement. I have a couple questions; When I receive a video, is there a way to enlarge the video to clearly zoom? Is there a way to color bubbles to differentiate senders? I realize these questions may be due to my tech failings.
2024-12-05 | Alyssa Hines | Another previous Verizon messenger user. I liked this app works well at everything it offers, which is the most important. I'm leaving however because of some features that were important to me that this doesn't offer 1- being able to search one chat for something specific 2- being able to send links directly from the other apps vs having to copy the link switch to this app and then paste it to send. I did use this for months I'm back... Since features are useless if the app doesn't work
2024-12-03 | Melissa Young | Love the appearance and customizations! I was looking for a replacement for Verizon Message+ (which I loved). The default replacement was Google Messages (which I hated). I wanted a free app with options for the appearance and customizations. I am very happy with this app and have not experienced any issues for the first month or so of use. The ads are barely noticeable. My only suggestion for improvement would be to be able to set different colors for each person in group texts.
2024-12-02 | J Barnes | I was using Verizon's Messages + until they discontinued it last month. This app has all of the features that Messages + had, including scheduling messages, background customization, assigning custom ringtones to different people, etc. I love it! My only question is, is there the capability to give a reaction to a single text? I'm not seeing that, and when I press down on a message bubble nothing happens. I have RCS activated.
2024-11-29 | Randi D | Frustratingly buggy. Often, when I type a recipient name, the app finds it, but then the name disappears before I can hit send. Then app won't let me type that name, or any other, again. Also, I'm having trouble sending photos from my gallery. It just told me Verizon was denying access to photos I had previously sent to other people. Unimpressive.
2024-11-27 | Luis Alfredo | Moved to this app after Verizon decided to remove their messaging service. I tried and tried various message apps, but the majority were vague and full of annoying ads. This one is surprisingly similar. I recommend this app 100%. Stop the hunting and download this one. You can thank me later.
2024-11-23 | Danielle Petty-Baker | The app still freezes up and sometimes my messages don't go through and are returned to me as failed. I loved this app when I 1st got it as an alternative to the Verizon Message + app, but since the most recent update I've encountered some issues. If they could work out the kinks I'd definitely rate this app 5 stars as it's the closest app to the message + I've experienced thus far.
2024-11-15 | james herrin | So far the app is doing well. Had to find another app because of Verizon dropping there app. Have had couple of days, and so far l like it. I have tried Google and Samsung, but didn't like either. There are some ads that pop up at top of the app, but nothing so far to interfere with texting. This is a short term review of the app. I will give a later review after long term use. |
