What I do is that, I use the crop feature on this app, it works just fine. But though, when you do the cropping, the clarity of the video would reduce to some degree. But still, it's still okay |
| 2023-08-26 |  | | It has one important disadvantage. I cannot search for the video I want to reduce by looking for the correct folder. It offers me folders and if it is not there, bad luck. Equally to avoid that problem, I cannot find the video somehow else and then say "send to Video compress" So, if the app doesn't find it, I am screwed and will not be able to use the app. I.e. I cannot compress a video which came through bluetooth. It happens quite often in similar ways. |

You are presented with some kind of collections which I can't figure out. I have one MOVIES folder but it shows me dozens of MOVIES directories, all with just some of the files. I always wonder what's so hard to just implement the default devices file manager for selecting files?? |

Won't find all videos, but thinks it can, and pre-select every video it thinks you should be interested in with no option to look further. Does it work? Maybe, when you move your video to one of the location that it thinks all videos must be at. By the way, the time it takes to get slowly save a video is magically the same time as the full-length ads you have to watch while saving. |

I'm considering getting the paid version not because the free version doesn't do everything I need, but as a software developer I appreciate how much work, dedication, and commitment to excellence went into publishing this excellent utility. It works especially great when you want to send a clip taken with your phone via WhatsApp and it gets cut because of WhatsApp's restrictions on the file size of a video you can send. |
| 2021-03-06 |  | | I'd been using the app for over a year. It used to be an easy and super useful app (I used mostly it to compress video memes so that I could send them in Discord). But sometime a few months ago the app stopped working correctly (compressing a video would take an infinite amount of time and never finish, new videos I downloaded wouldn't show up, and the UI became super slow.) Even reinstalling the app didn't fix these problems. Unfortunately, all I can do is uninstall and find a better app. |
