Initially designed for ESP8266 and Sonoff devices, it supports discovering any zero-configuration systems. Users can easily search for specific services like printers or scanners, view IP addresses, ports, and attributes, and gain insights into locally available services with simple commands. What is mDNS Discovery?
mDNS Discovery is a tool for browsing and resolving any systems or services registered in local area network. Originally developed for resolving services from ESP8266, and Sonoff devices (smart relay), this tool can also discover any zero-configuration system or services as long as it is implemented properly. This networking, where devices can discover and resolve other services is also known as zero-configuration, Bonjour, or Avihi.

Usage
- Simply type in the service type you want to look for, for example printer, scanner, or smb. The app will resolve the IP Address, Port, and Attributes of the service if it's available.
- To search for all available service in the network, simply long press the search button. (from V2.1.0 EXPERIMENTAL)
- If the service carry attributes parameters, long-tap the card to view the full attributes.
- If you are a mac user, you can type in 'dns-sd -B _services._dns-sd._udp' in Terminal to look for locally available services.
