2024-06-16 | David | Setup experience with the app and bouncing back and forth between zepp and watch is truly heinous and took hours to actually work. I get that it's working around the official app but it's brutal. Once it's all connected it works, but it's pretty bad ui and no way to sync into other fitness apps I want the steps to sync into. Also can't do things like setup wifi on the watch. it can't really replace the zepp app so I'm mostly left wondering what the point even is.
2024-03-04 | Mr_Smellnice | It's great and adds loads of functionality compared to the official Zepp app, but my god there are so many options it's unfathomable to an old man like myself. It would be handy to have a simple menu asking what to turn on and off, and i really don't need to choose icons for every type of notification but there doesn't seem to be a way to do it simply. I feel like i've got my money's worth just for the sheer amount of menus i've got to wade through.
2024-01-03 | Laura G | When it works it's great but unfortunately it works 20% of the time. No notifications after following all the instructions, sometimes it syncs, has just become more annoying than useful. Was great but now the Dev is trying to add so many features. Focus on fixing what doesn't work please. Does the developer care? I don't see any responses to the one star reviews
2022-12-13 | Jason Wilson | Hot ad cold. Used this app for years and the free version worked well on my GTS. Just upgraded watch to Gts4 and was going to pay for upgraded pro features only to find that features I liked ( like button assign reject / silence / hangup) are no longer supported in this app. Lots of settings and can be confusing at times. Seems like after this long it would have become more user friendly and would have retained good features it had before. For this reason I am not upgrading to the pro version.
2022-11-10 | Jeremy Bullock | Really good, with one weird flaw. The chief thing I wanted this app for was to send notifications from my phone to the watch for apps other than "message", and it does that great. I have no complaints. The only complaint I have is that it NEVER gets my sleep time right. It always has me up at some point in the middle of the night and never going back to sleep again. I used to correct it to keep an accurate record, but gave up because it was such a pain to do everyday. If that gets fixed, 5 stars
2022-10-05 | Sean Brandt | This app has come a long way and has a ton of customization options. End of September 2022, AmazFit pushed an update that fixed several things and it seems that my GTR 4 works with Notify again. However, I see no reason to use notify for notifications, at this time, as the native app (Zepp) allows for replies and Notify does not.
2022-07-31 | Kray Zee | The only downside is the upside)) here's a thing, this program has too many settings, which is a good if you are a tinkerer and a nightmare if you aren't. And even if you are a tinkerer, sometimes you just can't remember where in the f* world this or that setting. In other words UX can be optimized a 5hit tone. It's a solid app, purchased it to support devs, and it gives me 90% of smartwatch at 5% price. I hope that devs will optimize settings layout
2022-02-10 | Vallerie Boucher | Really disappointed with this app. At first, the app seemed to have it all but mama wasn't lying when she said that sometimes a lot doesn't mean quality. I could not get my notify button to work with music and quick text at the same time, and completely took away my ability to the volume. I couldnt even let me set it as a function because it wasn't on the list. I want my money back since I bought the app but it won't let me contact support, insisting I do research before contacting them.
2021-07-10 | Harry Chan | It takes some work to get the hang of using but it's possible to replace the official app for more peace of mind about data control and this has much more flexibility with Google maps/fit and sleep as android compatibility. Menu items could be organized in a more straight forward manner but the search feature alleviates that for the most part. Notifications also took some time to configure correctly, but once I learned how, it was no longer a challenge.
2021-02-17 | Clint E | Have a few issues with the app and watch functionality I'd like to resolve. (No 12hour clock.) Can't find official website or subreddit to ask. Most everything functions fine. Some settings are worded poorly and not easily understood what they do right away. Plus side it has every option you could want and some that will be extra fluff. Which is fine in an app like this. I'd rather have the option be there in the case I ever want to use it. Runs well on Note 9 (AT&T). |
