| 2024-02-04 |  | | Love the format on this app, thats why bought it. However, it always has hidden sync issues. Hence, one discovers your email is not working. Wish this mail app had no issues; especially, when free email apps simply work. Sadly, given up on this app. Love the way you can change fonts colors / size similar to Outlook desktop… Being in business need working reliable email even though some do not have good cosmetics like MailDroid. Again, it WAS a good app.. But, sync issues? |
| 2023-10-23 |  | | I've used this app fir years and have been happy with it. However, the recent update on October 21, 2023. Isn't working. It says it needs to move data as part as part of tge update. That migration never seems to complete rendering tge app useless I do have multiple email accounts with many folders and sub folders. I can't tell if it'll ever finish or if it has hung but it seems to stop the migration if the app isn't left occupying the full screen and I haven't able to leave the phone unused... |
| 2023-07-15 |  | | Well I must be the one exception but MailDroid is working perfectly for me. :) Yes, it’s abandonware but my emails have never looked better. There is no email client out there that can touch it for HTML email; nothing that comes even remotely close. I like to format my emails and MailDroid is simply an embarrassment of riches. Color, Hilight, Format. There is only one feature I wish it had: Templates. But for that infrequent need, it’s the best email client I’ve used hands down. |
| 2023-03-09 |  | | UPDATE: I've contacted support with an ongoing issue that many others have stated in their reviews, but haven't heard anything nor is it fixed. The app can take 3, 4, or 5 minutes to open and then always have to do a force close at least once. Can't write an email either without it freezing up. This was the best app but if it doesn't work makes it worthless. Sorry to say I have to move on. I've given them 6 months or so to get it fixed but need to change to another app. Very sad. |

I've been using Maildroid for many years now. I'm trying to update some server settings and I'm told to update Google Chrome to the latest version. My version is updated. In fact Android updates it automatically. I cannot uninstall it and reinstall it to make sure. It is integral, apparently, to Android. Would you help? Thank you |
| 2022-12-07 |  | | This app is inferior to what it was 7 years ago when I wroe, "I wouldn't be without this app. The only reason I don't give it five stars is that it does not permit sharing an eMail address among multiple identities. Such sharing would permit different Reply-To headers, sender names, customized CC and BCC addresses, and signature blocks to be used in outgoing messages from the same eMail address. My opinion is unchanged. It's great but still lacks this important feature." Now it HAS changed. |
| 2021-11-18 |  | | I've loved this app for years. I know they're busy but it's so disappointing to never get a literal response to requests for help & the FAQ stays out if service. I need help now but none is coming. I've sent multiple bug reports as my mail comes sporadically. No response. Now the few that come in can't open, just a full page of ??????. Just a form letter saying got your message will respond in a couple if hours. NOT! |
| 2021-09-04 |  | | Been using this app for years on Andriod. The best email app for business pros who live multiple personas linking to multiple email addresses from multiple providers. And the developers are very smart. There are not a lot changes, but when they happen they are transparent to users, and issues are addressed promptly because the app has a built-in crash reporting system. Very cool in every way. Highly recommend! 😎👍 |
| 2021-03-09 |  | | What happened? From 4 stars to 1. It misses emails, doesnt refresh. Uninstalling. I would like to see a VIP feature for people, but that seems to be hard to find. I have noticed it allows it's own notification sound, so that is WAY cool! Older: It is a very good mail app. Though every update or 6 months, you have to fill it out, it does better than many. It has some decent features others lack; like just clearing the notice, but not deleting the email! I have replaced phones, not this app! |
| 2020-09-11 |  | | A few years ago, I was excited to find this very flexible and configurable email app. I use Thunderbird on Windows; Maildroid had the same level of ability. I used to get replies from the developer to my email questions. But, over time, as I send in questions or problem reports, nothing happens. Now there's a serious problem: the (IMAP) inbox on my main account doesn't show any messages. I could try reinstalling from scratch, but I think it's time to install the Fair Email app instead. ☹️ |
