| 2021-12-23 |  | | I used to absolutely LOVE this app years ago and told everyone about it. At first it was free but then I didn't mind paying the $20 annual fee and appreciated most of their updates ... Now what I used to spend annually, I got roped into paying monthly!! $20 PER month after a 7 day free trial and while there are some great functionality I find it super glitchy and the tech doesn't work very well... And since I only create a magisto video every few months, it's a complete waste of money! |
| 2021-12-02 |  | | This used yo be my absolute favorite video editing app. I've used it for years and the quality has declined so drastically. The 2021 version is absolute garbage. The app used to make me tge cutest suprise videos and despite having that feature turned on, I never get those videos anymore, even with me constantly taking new videos and pictures. The algorithm seems to have gotten dumbed down and there's less editing features now, but at a higher cost! Merely a shadow of a once great app |
| 2020-11-14 |  | | I have had this service for years. Was happy with it. Now it seems I've lost any videos prior 2015. Besides that, it seems someone went in and took any videos I had prior to 2015 has condensed them all into ONE brief screwed up video. All different events, and occasions, different seasons, holidays etc blurred into a 30 second crappy video!! I lost all sorts of pictures and events!! Not happy. |

Photos do not render correctly cutting the people in the photos out of the frame, not being able to add a 'title' to the video, and no logical order in picking themes, the "upgrade" they throw out at you when you try edit not included. 😔 |
| 2019-10-13 |  | | It's an awesome app with great transitions, music and effects, but after making some films it wont properly upload or download them anymore... Huge issue... *Edit* Then i emailed their support team and hours later after it seemed everything was working again. Its amazing and fun! The only problem is it downloads videos in 480p only it seems. 720p at least. 1080p is required nowadays. |

App also asks for more permissions than I am comfortable with. As far as the editing, they have two offerings: free and professional. Download issue aside, I might have tried professional if it clearly outlined somewhere what you get with it VS the free but it didn't. Also, is music copyright/ royalty free? Creators need to know that info so make it clear! |
| 2019-05-24 | | | This app is not the greatest to do an edit on. When I installed the app I expected to be able to make manual changes to to video. Instead I only got four options when it came to manually editing. The options were to change the photos, choose a filter, choose audio, and change the lenth. I didn't get to choose how the photos transitioned, or how the audio played out. |

The cost is a little to high. I wish they have plans like. You get to do 5 videos a month with a low cost. I feel you may have more wanting to do that. I paid for one month just to use it love it and cancel it. but lower cost then I would stay in heartbeat |
| 2019-04-24 | | | Unable to cancel. I have already tried the instructions magisto supplied. Another point... When you do click on magisto subscription you will see when it cancels. Mine cancels in January. It does NOT tell you it will auto renew! I am sure there is some print that advised that somewhere, but with all the apps it's hard to keep track. I guess that's why it only shows the cancel date and no notice it will auto renew. I have been advised to get in touch with Google to get this canceled. |
| 2019-04-02 | | | there are several things you cannot access through the application itself one being the ability to remove audio from videos that you have taken. they are forcing you to buy the professional version in order to do something like that. it used to be a really really excellent product! but as green goes great goes |
