I only wish I could set individual timers for each app. Say 5 minutes before the pop-up for Facebook, 2 for Reddit, 10 for X, etc... I have them set on "chill" mode, and it gives me enough time to get my little fix and then remind myself that I should probably hop off before I waste an hour. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking a step in solving this crisis plaguing our society. |

However, the app does not differentiate between doom scrolling and studying. I am unable to read through an article with which I'm trying to actually study information, or read a news update, etc. There has got to be a way to avoid social media doom scrolling while maintaining normal phone usage. Even on the "chill" setting, I'm unable to read through a basic dictionary explanation. |
