VERY capable database! As a retired database guy, it's all I need, and more. FYI: reviewing the free version; there are paid versions with far more functionality. Templates are available, but I design my own. With the Templates, should be usable by anybody. Highly recommended!!

I've loved this app for years now. It's the best database app I've ever used, with it's perfect mix of functionality AND user-friendliness. My only complaint is that I bought the "Pro" license years ago when it was a one-time purchase - and have nothing to show for it now. I understand the devs switched to a subscription format and that doesn't transfer over, but there should be SOME kind of perk or legacy level for those of us who PAID and have nothing to show for it now.

I just want to say that with the recent addition of Visual Basic, SQL, prefilled entries, buttons! I'd go as far as to say that Memento Database is far more powerful of a database app than Smartsheet. Way more customizable than any database app I know of. I absolutely love the themes for the desktop app as well. Thank you!

Had the android app for years & keep trying to make it work, but it always fails for me. I'd need to upgrade to the Pro version, but I don't have the option to do that -I'd have to buy BOTH subscriptions now. Waste of $40 already. I don't want to waste another $80. --Updated review since Memento offered assistance with the upgrade, which I thank them for. Will update again if photos work better with Pro.

I love the app to death and would usually give it five stars (or more if I could) but when I wanted to increase my storage, I was quoted $10 and then I found out they charged $12+. I did not read the email bill believing that they would bill the $10 price. When I did follow up, there was no explanation, just the $12 price. I canceled the $12 upgrade. I believe they should be more forthcoming, even by saying $10 for a lot of you but could be higher for those of you we can fool. jw

The best cross-platform, relatively simple, free database option I've been able to find to keep track of my movie collection. This has been the best cross-platform way to track my gradual replacement of physical media with digital. Would love to see some minor interface improvements (i.e. a quick "clear filters" option, etc) but it is amazing for a free tool. Biggest downside is the monthly fees for premium. I don't even need it but would love to do a one-time cost for some extra.

Great app and possibly the best of its kind but losing stars because I don't want to be forced into a cloud subscription. The desktop application is useless unless you are using their cloud. It's not about the money... I simply don't want my personal information in someone else's cloud. I should be able to back up a library on my phone and export it to my computer and vice versa. I would be happy to pay more money for these features... But I'll resort the paper and pencil before using a cloud.

Has just about everything I need. The ability to use JavaScript allows me to add a bunch of custom functionality. There are a few features missing that I think would be useful (e.g. a way to iterate through all fields, create a duplicate entry in a script, share a script between libraries, etc.), but I've found a way to work around most of these. I'm less than fond of the fact that a subscription is the only way to pay to use certain features, especially since I don't need their cloud backups.

I've designed & worked in databases for decades, and I really enjoy using Memento. Its New Library wizard lets me start projects easily. In a few minutes I can create something like a cookbook or a medical tracker, built exactly to my needs, with a custom screen icon, that I can use across devices. Tons of support is available. Pitfalls are that I can't import images, and that sharing a library across devices requires the entire thing to be loaded on each device (can't use it from the cloud).

Easily the best app for taking notes and creating databases. It's easy to use and highly customizable. That being said, I would like to suggest a few improvements. More font options, and the ability to customize the font of library titles, entry names and group headings would go a long way towards improving the app's visual appeal. The ability to add a short description of your library and pin certain entries to the top of the list would be very useful as well.
