2024-12-09 | Dillion McClellan | Great game. The biggest issue is thit's practically pay to win. You dont get hardly any gold,so it forces people to buy gold to level up their monsters. Edit: while I appreciate the devs' response. It'not just the rewards. For example: to evolve a monster, it takes 200-300 gold, and that's only for the first evolution. We get 10 to 15 gold in boxes that take 2 hours to open, we get 5 to 15 gold pure battles, which just continues to increase in difficulty. We don't get enough gold in anything.
2024-11-12 | David Johnson | Your app always has the sound/ video player setting running, regardless if I turn off music, effect, and general in the settings of your app. I am trying to listen to YouTube while I play your game, but each time I start a video while your app is open, it pauses my YT video IMMEDIATELY. I can't enjoy your game because of this. Edit: literally just fixed this bug and added a new monster lol
2024-10-08 | Hero's “Break the Bull” Angel | It's fun but I can see they are really a pay to win game. It's possible to play without paying but once you start getting into the higher ranks it's pretty evident that either those "top" players are either paying to win or using a hacked version of the game that allows them to place moves without the timer. Needs to be turned based, not timer based.
2024-09-08 | Chris Jenkins | Interesting Monster Battle Mechanics, timing attacks or defense options to possibly counter your opponent is such a cool mechanic. Having to wait 2hrs or more to unlock the rewards of a battle kills everything the game does well for me. PLEASE! The Combat and Character Customization is too notch. Please just make finding and collecting new monsters easier, and get rid of the time-locked reward boxes. I would pay good money to have instant rewards and a better way to find and collect monsters!
2024-08-21 | No Name | Pros: The real time battles are good, and there is a level of strategy to timing attacks and avoiding damage. Monster movesets were well thought-out and made to be situational. This core element is very well done. Cons: Game is very limited in terms of content. You advance through a teir / rank system versus other players. There is no real adventure mode, or dungeons, or anything else, so it feels very repetitive. This creates very slow progress. It also pushes a pay-to-advance sort of model.
2024-08-20 | Jon P. | A very fun game. The combat is like a pokemon battle with actual strategy on using moves and how it affects battle. The reasons I stopped playing was that the only way to get new mons is by winning eggs along a set reward track and the coins you need to level up your monsters are gained very slowly. The app also constantly bombards you with packages to buy and messages that you can pay to unlock rewards faster. It's too bad since the gameplay was actually fun but the annoyances were too many.
2024-08-16 | And Ato | This game is a lot of fun, a lot of good things, and surely a bundle of hard workers have come together to make a fun semi-turn based pet battle game. It's not pokemon, but it does capture the feeling I got playing poke coliseum back on the game cube. Like with any game there's a grind, especially for fellow free-play users. That's not the only option however, you can also supplement your time with the purchasable items. All in all, monster masters is a fun and creative stab at a classic idea.
2024-08-01 | Cris Donnell | It's not a bad game, just misses the mark for a good or even decent game. There isn't anything to do after you battle 3 times. Then you just sit and wait for a chest to open. No open world or anything where you get to move at all to battle or catch monsters, it's more like a gatcha game definitely PTW. Character customization is pretty bad. Every fight is a PVP ranked. The game just lacks any type of real character or definitive quality.
2024-07-15 | Riley Taber | This game was absolutely terrible for 3 reasons: 1. Some monsters had op strategies that if you didn't have the same monster you just lose that battle 2. There is a ranking system, and in my experience with this game, you lose 1 battle and lose 4 battles worth of progress 3. There are things called "seasons" and at the end of the seasons you reset to the beginning of your rank, however you do not regain rewards when you climb back up to the top, so you really just lose a week's worth of progress
2024-03-21 | Makada Mark | I really liked this game because it was very interesting and fun, plus really good graphics but I deleted it after a while because there really wasn't much to do once you got all of the monsters, there wasn't any story or adventures or anything to do after. I downloaded it again and so much has changed now. I really like how much the game progressed while I was gone and I think I will continue to stick around to see more of the changes that the developers add . Great game definitely 9 out of 10 |
