2024-11-10 | VAST THE DOGE | I was looking for an alternative to Samsung Modes and Routines since there is a cap of 50 routines. This is the replacement I was looking for. No ads, no premium features so far, great UI, and very powerful. Also, it is very easy to use if you have programming experience. My only two complaints so far are that the await time cards should display the day off the week when that's the only thing set, and that the setting wallpaper card should allow you to crop the image.
2024-11-08 | Mal Pal (YourPalMal) | Unfortunately trying to figure out how to do anything on this is a headache. I wanted to find out a way to make the app automatically turn on/off my DNS setting but trying to navigate anything on this is impossible, it either just straight up isn't there or I have to navigate through 20 different blocks hoping one of them has anything related to that. Turns out, they don't, the only thing I've been able to find is related to the DNS ip address which isn't what I need. Bare bones is all 🤷♂️
2024-11-04 | James | It does the thing on my phone where the app appears to be only able to be "deactivated" instead of uninstalled (based upon the playstore options as I don't want to uninstall. The developer's response provides insight), but despite this, this app is the type of extension I wish was on smart phones by default. Programming can be a little technical and difficult to understand at first, but the freedom you are given to program in simple "apps" makes me realize how limited smartphones really can be.
2024-04-22 | Eric Charles | I love this app & have been using it for a number of years now across multiple phones. It's a bit difficult to learn how to do some things, and it takes me a lot of trial & error to get programs working how I want them to, but if you have any node based workflow and coding experience, it's not too difficult to learn. I have flows that turn on a 30 minute sleep timer when I play Spotify or YouTube (when I'm home & my phone is charging), another that makes my phone scream if I throw it, etc.
2024-04-03 | Red Miller | If I understood a fraction of what this app is capable of, I would be an automating mastermind. But I'm kind of a doofus and have really bad ADHD. This app makes it easy though. Creating flows effortlessly using the available prompts and options. The sequence is intuitive, and still as complex as you want to get. It's a powerful program that I recommend. I recommend the full version too. There is just so much you can do.
2024-02-23 | Arrie Jones | Edit: I just realized that this replaces Google Home Assistant functionality, so now I can't set reminders and timers and such. My house is in a dead zone for cellular signal. I always have to manually put my phone in airplane mode so it uses WiFi for phone and text. Then I always forget to take it off when I leave and miss calls. I've been looking for an app that can handle this for me for a very long time, and this one can actually do it! And with relative ease. Thank you!
2024-01-02 | David Kight | Got my hotspot to come on automatically when my bluetooth connects to my car's Android stereo. I expect to be able to get it to turn off hotspot as well but it's late so will work on that tomorrow. I also setup a quick gesture to turn on/off my flashlight without even having to unlock my phone . . . been wanting to do that for years. Also love that I was able to use the app, BEFORE paying for it, so I could see if it would work for me. Great UI and design. Keep up the good work.
2023-09-04 | UNITED POLICE STATES OF AMERICA | I didn't know how bad I needed this until I found it kinda by accident. But it has proved indispensable in so many ways, now, that I wonder how I ever managed android without it. ANYTHING you have ever wished Android could do, or you could do with it, Automate can make that wish come true. And All I wanted in the first place was for my video game to start automatically when my bt gamepad connected. But now it does too many other cool things to list.
2023-02-11 | Gordon Truong | App is improved over time but as automation flows become more and more complex, there really needs to be a feature that allows for multi-block moves. Moving large swaths of blocks one block at a time is a huge waste of time. Cut/paste is inadequate because it changes block IDs and also not the most efficient use of time either. I just want to drag-select (like selecting multiple files ona desktop) and directly move the blocks like I would on a PC. That's more efficient use of time
2023-01-07 | XxOnyxWolfxX | Great for Bluetooth automation. I use it daily in my car and have been for years. One thing I would ask the dev to look into would be a block to do something similar for wired devices as the bluetooth block does. eg: "usb device connected, yes/no" block and not just referring to a power state block. The broadcast listen block is a bit above my head I suppose. |
