App summary

Massimiliano Siccardi’s breathtaking Immersive Van Gogh exhibit, scored by multimedia composer Luca Longobardi, brings visitors inside the moving world of Vincent van Gogh’s artwork – through technology, theatrical storytelling, and world-class animation. To complement this spectacular on-site presentation, Lighthouse and Boulevard Arts have come together to create the Lighthouse Immersive app. The app offers visitors digital interactivities designed to augment, personalize, and extend each part of their experience. With exclusive looks into the history of individual paintings, augmented reality engagements, and cultural editorial content, visitors to Immersive Van Gogh can continue their exploration of the artist’s life and work long after they have left the venue.

Features include:
*A pre-show audio guide voiced by acclaimed Stratford actor Colm Feore
*A video of actress and producer Lily Collins touring the exhibit in Chicago
*Articles from smART Magazine, including an exclusive with Immersive Van Gogh Creative Director and world-builder of Broadway’s Hamilton, David Korins
*A gallery showcasing 26 Van Gogh paintings, alongside rich educational content and stories about the artist and the period in which he lived
*A podcast with renowned journalist and critic Richard Ouzounian
*Access to the full playlist of songs from Immersive Van Gogh, curated by Italian composer Luca Longobardi
*Access to augmented reality activations and other interactives:
- Decoding Vincent prompts you to explore the personal symbolism buried in some of the artist’s greatest works.
- Letters From Vincent uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to craft an original letter “from the artist.” (Available at select venues)
- Pocket Gallery Van Gogh let’s you participate in Vincent’s creative process. (Available at select venues)
- Search for Van Gogh provides a colorful, location-based treasure hunt in augmented reality – including prizes. (Available at select venues)

The Lighthouse Immersive app also includes useful resources for each venue: a list of other nearby spots for culture and entertainment, places to eat and drink, and information about parking, accessibility, and other logistics.

More exclusive digital content will be added regularly, as Lighthouse expands with new exhibits and venues around North America. Make sure to keep your app up to date and look out for new features, functions, and things to do as Immersive Van Gogh and other cultural experiences from Lighthouse Immersive come to a city near you.

Didn't have my city on there. And wouldn't leave the first screen. horrible.

I took my daughter's, age 18 and 6, to Disney Immersive. What a great, unique experience! The graphics and interaction were amazing. Would definitely do this again.

As soon as you choose your city it just tells you to go to another website to sign up for future info and updates. So what's the point of this app? I'll just stick to the emails that I get.
