2024-11-29 | Valerie | It's good for the most part. It has been wrong a few times. What I really really don't like is that you only get to see a few inches of screen for the map. Please make it full screen. And stop telling me to turn off my battery saver. Not gonna happen. UPDATE: This app is awful anymore. Half the time it doesn't work. It shows us in the wrong places and is causing us arguments. It keeps showing me going into a field in the middle of the night. I guarantee I am not in a field in the middle of night
2024-11-26 | Stenslae | Pretty solid app for location sharing, but has issues. The ads and ui is very intrusive and not the nicest to navigate. The pop ups on the map are awful. Additionally, the driving tracker is pretty terrible, it misreads walking or running as driving, and it'll create insane values for texting while driving, etc. Should add a feature that lets you save a location someone is at to use in apps like google maps. You should also optimize battery usage more, too.
2024-11-25 | Janice Rollins | I was thinking about upgrading to the paid version of Life360 about the time it changed. I see that I'm not the only one having problems with it. I also noticed people with the paid version are reporting new problems, as well. Originally, it worked mostly great, with occasional lag time in updating locations. But it didn't happen enough to be a problem. Now, it is almost never correct, plus there are things that used to be included in the free version that aren't anymore.
2024-11-24 | Lyle Phenicie | It CONSTANTLY begs you to turn on notifications! Every time I open the app I get a screen begging me to turn on notifications! I did it once only to find out that every time anyone on my list even moves a few feet, this stupid app sends me a notification! Now, with notifications off, it begs me to turn it on EVERY TIME I open it!
2024-11-23 | C. Ande | Lying no good when it comes to the weekly driving report. It has me speeding at over 80mph 10 times. I barely drive, and the roads I do drive on are 55mph at the most, and I may go 60mph. It has my phone usage high while driving, and the only time I use the phone while in the car is if my husband is driving. He was out of town and called a couple of times , and I did answer. The location service is fair. I can see about where he is, but not a specific location.
2024-11-22 | A Google user | Been using this app in my family for many years across both Android and IOS platforms. Accurate and provides peace of mind for us all- love it and started many other people and families on it. Dropping 2 stars because not seeing distance of family anymore or a directions to button. I'm wondering if that became a paid feature and, if so, will havento look for an alternate app after.
2024-11-22 | eds atd | Good-ish. The screen is only used half of it for tracking. The other half is filled with your circle list, adds and settings. I get the adds, but I would like the option to hide the list and settings better. Also I really don't need to be reminded every second that my phone is on battery saver, I know it is, fir a reason.
2024-11-21 | Dawn Schulte | Here to echo others that an incredibly useful app that I've been using for over four years is now useless because the "distance to" and mapping capability is gone. Through the years, I've been able to show up to pick up my teenage kids when they were in the middle of nowhere and needed me and that gave us both peace of mind. I've been able to plan meals around family members' ETA. The app has, sadly, lost all value. What a shame. π
2024-11-19 | Alexis Johnson | I used to love this app. Then they took away the thing that made it useful. I can no longer use the 'get directions' feature without paying $15 per month. That's absolutely insane. I have this app because we travel a lot and it made me feel better knowing if I was lost one of my family members could help me navigate if needed based on my location. But the truth is, I can pull over and type it in myself or have someone else do the same. So to make it disappear and then try to charge $100>/yr???
2024-11-19 | Angie K. | Hope these issues are fixed soon. New review... 11/1. At the moment, 360 is slow to give location when a family member is reaching a saved location. It says, for example... So and so completed a 40-mile trip. It waits sometime after they reach destination (30 minutes after they arrive). Also, it doesn't share distance from home anymore. Why? Also, the distance to anyone isn't shown. I used to be able to tell how long until my husband gets home. Not anymore. |
