2024-08-10 | Shahidul Anwar | Good for learning word only. But added no grammar. I need grammar, especially tense.
2024-01-14 | Judith Jewell | Thank you, l am learning to Converse with my Grandson, he is laughing and enjoying Great Grandma's conversations with him. What a good way to get to know him better. We both laugh a lot when he helps me to pronounce the words. Fun! In learning.
2023-11-07 | Mark | So far so good. Just started using this app as my wife is a native speaker and I tested it out on her by reading random words and sayings which proved to be correct in the way they are spelt and pronounced. Structure of app is nice and very user friendly. One thing I would like to see are how the words can be spoken/used in sentences but a great app!!.....ads not to intrusive
2023-03-10 | Daniel Jacobson | Seems rather complete. However, we can play all items, or play one item slow, but we can I play all items slow with one tap. Also, when we touch an item, its background becomes darker, which just makes it harder to read! Also if you want to hear an item slow, you must hear it fast first. One cannot directly just hear it slow.
2022-12-11 | Abegail Alms | So I just downloaded the app. I have not looked at it much, but so far I am not that impressed with it. As a non native speaker to Tagalog who is now extremely fluent in Tagalog, I would say it would get you by in a pinch but if you were actually to learn Tagalog more than just basics, you would get very confused from using this first. Edit: I would love to help edit some things if given the chance to. I do think it is a solid start.
2022-05-19 | Aiden Roten | Awesome resource of so much vocabulary! The audio is great quality and there are many quizzes you can do to help memorize vocabulary. One suggestion: there is a punctuation issue when it comes to doing the quizzes in "Greeting". When doing the Listening quiz, the wrong answers have the period at the end removed, while the correct answer keeps it, making it too easy. The Writing quiz also shouldn't need a period unless you're writing a full sentence. Other than that, awesome app!
2022-01-08 | ivan perez | This app is very good! The only thing I'd like to request is the ability to control which words pop up in my notifications throughout the day. If I could make it a small list or even just words from one category, I think I would learn them faster. Thanks! Great work!
2021-08-17 | Kenneth Vedra | I have been exposed to commercial learning apps for several languages and this one is good! It's intuitive, easy to understand and flows naturally! Thank you!
2020-07-18 | Vinn Howard Beazell | I first tried the Spanish to Hebrew and found it very helpful so now I am #learningTagalog from Spanish! These are great tools for expanding our knowledge beyond bilingual education. My question about using the apps is how can I go to an English dictionary if I edI know the definition of a Spanish word?? Great Work!! I commend you for your excellent work on #helpingUSA to achieve more language and #cultureEducation!! Posting this on reviews and our LinkedIN profile... VinnHoward Beazel
2020-06-09 | Tony P | Too many loud ads while I'm trying to get started. Spoken answers are different from what is written (taglish and word order interchanging thus changing na and -ng) and the very first sentence I constructed was marked wrong even though it was exactly as written in the answer. Would be willing to subscribe to get rid of ads but the other inconsistencies are dealbreakers. |
