2023-01-05 | Sean Mac | Keeps pushing pro version bus the pop up doesn't show you the price. Are you afraid nobody will pay if you reveal how expensive it is? Littered with ads. Uninstalled.
2022-08-10 | Mark Bridges | Not a bad app in terms of Cantonese content, but it does have some very irritating American spellings of things like meter for metre... And the lists of some things like animals and others is very incomplete... But overall, not bad.
2022-08-01 | Toby Chan | This is a good app, however with the speaking quizzes you get penalised for getting it wrong even if you pronounce the words perfectly, because the Google microphone doesn't automatically finish your sentence/phrase with a full stop. It has a very large range of vocabulary which is very good. Glitches every now and again but refreshing the app seems to work.
2021-06-16 | Mike V | This is a good free app for learning Cantonese Chinese. However, some English words can have multiple meanings. For instance, when showing the ordinals for first, second, and third, it uses the unit of time for second. First and third translates to first place and third place respectively, but the word for second is incorrect in this instance. The majority of words seem to be correct, but some words are missing and some words show up multiple times (repeated) in a category. But it is still good.
2021-03-23 | soolee | There's a lot of incorrect pronunciation, many repeated phrases like "boss" that was repeated five times in the studying card, lots of other cards didn't have Cantonese pronunciation.
2020-10-25 | Yunxiong Chen | When I tried the app under the Greeting session, there is phrase Thank You Very Much when I tapped, it was supposed to be Cantonese audio not English.
2020-06-22 | Mona A | It would be much better if there were actual phrases, instead of words. Say, for instance, "I'm going to school", "I will be going to school", "Do you have the phone number for an electrician?", etc.,
2020-01-28 | A Google user | Really easy to use and tons of content. I also like the way the information is organized.
2020-01-16 | A Google user | I need more information than just speaking. I need to understand the symbolism and the inflection and why to use emphasis in certain places. This is an easy app for simple memorization but I need more.
2019-11-27 | A Google user | Wow. Everything's here. I can't believe it. You should download this now. And it could let you rate yourself, through recording and listening to your own pronunciations. Bravo! 5 Stars! And it's FREEEEE! ❤️❤️❤️ |
