[Re: Restarting the phone does not resolve the issue in this review. The phone was not updated prior to the biometric issue. Still an issue on S24 Ultra] I really like this password manager. It's almost perfect... except the biometric lock feature keeps breaking on a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. There are no issues at all on a Note 9 or S9+. This is the only app that has a problem with biometrics on my phone. It's such a shame, as this is a show stopper on my daily driver phone.

Edit: the response from the developer was prompt, and the fact that he/they acknowledge the only flaw I've have found let's me know he/they are working on getting it fixed.... Good for what it does, but recently somehow someway it out of nowhere it decided to make one of my kdbx files unusable/corrupt and I lost access to some accounts cause of that... Have no freaking idea what/how/why from one day to the next the file was just unusable. Other than that this is the best pwd manager.

Worked great for years, but the latest update completely broke Google Drive support. Vault loads fine on multiple PCs, but get a StorageFileLoadException on Android. This has happened since the 5/2024 update. As of now, this app is unusable because manually transferring my password vault is not an option. - Developer response fixed my issue by clearing Google Drive cache

I keep getting an error "could not read credentials" with biometrics and the file's password. Then I boot up the file on my pc, and it works perfectly. This is the second password file I made, and it ends up having the same error. Two stars because when it works, it works well. That is until the inevitable. Beware that this bug is ongoing.

More intuitive and easy to use than other Android KeePass ports, and open source always helps with trusting programmers to not grab your data behind the scenes (assuming the checkers themselves are trustworthy). I didn't know that Android's Clipboard retains multiple entries for so long, and this gave a helpful warning. So far - having not tested advanced features - this app is a "KeePer."

Just installed as an alternative to KeePass2Android. DX takes less disk space, requests no permissions and offers better autofill. Bothers me that both stay running in the background, needlessly. Support is slow for both also but at least this developer explained why and one can't argue with the price. Update: Using this full-time now. It a gem.

I love this app. It does everything I need. I don't want a third party having my passwords. I use one drive to sync between phone and PC. I used to use keepass2Android, but like this one better! Thanks, DEV team, for providing this app at no cost! For all the neigh sayers, their posts clearly don't understand that this app has no internet connection (which I love), so as soon as they complain about synch problems, i know they are bogus. Hats off to the DEV's! Well done!

Decided to try another KeePass-compatible app different than the one I've always used. This one looks way nicer and has a lot more options and I like it better, but for some reason even though I have the "remember database location" enabled, I always have to manually choose the DB file from my phone after choosing to open a vault. That's about the only thing I don't like as the previous app I had remembered which DB I had opened last and automatically used that as the DB to open.

I use KeePassXC on my Windows 🤮 and Debian 😎 machines, and this app for Android with everything synced through OneDrive. Pay attention to your settings! Developer has simple UI for complex settings for any user, and an excellent wiki to support. Everything is here: attachments, custom attributes, 2FA, support of field references for multiple entries. And YOU control your vault file, not some vendor. An excellent supporting app for a system I've been using for a very long time. Cn't rite enuf.

I've been using Keepass2Android for years but decided to check this app out to see what I might be missing. Honestly, both are good and I'd recommend either one. KeepassDX does feel a little less clunky and more modern, so I'll likely stick with it. Usually at this point I'd point out something to improve but I literally can't think of anything. It's great to have options like these, and I love that there's no paywall for primary features. Support these devs!
