2022-05-09 | Tom Shank | Update: It seems they have worked out the bugs, at least for my S21U. It works close to flawlessly now. My only small issue: I have to plug the phone into my PC after I reboot it in order to get wireless to work. Great product. Original review: Difficult to get the wireless working. When it does work, it will degrade the video from time to time. I paid the $40 lifetime updates price and I was pretty dissapointed until I messed with it enough to get it to work. I'd say it's 3 out of 5 stars.
2021-11-02 | Scott Livingston | Great concept. Wireless works better than I expected, but I'm usually hardwired to a USB 3.0 port. Be sure (at least for me on Pixel 4 XL) to pull down the Notification bar and set "USB File Transfer on". Maybe it's a setting on my phone holding back the best performance. Swipe navigation is often not recognized for me too. How do you swipe away Apps and Notifications? I can get them to the point they're almost gone, but a little stays on the screen and I have to finish the swipe on my phone. No new release in a while... I hope development will continue. I'd say it was worth the purchase price.
2020-08-13 | Jonathan Parent | My windows app just updated and now my "High" image setting won't save after I exit the program. When I open it up again, I have to cycle through Low, Med, High to get it to the high setting again. If I don't do it that way and go straight to high, the image doesn't improve. So there are two problems there.
2020-08-05 | S F | I paid for, and I am otherwise am happy with the Pro version. I would give it 5 stars if the developer would: 1) have a more useful help portal instead of what little is there on the webpage; 2) respond to the several emails I sent. Issue: 3) Some time ago, in the late 2.xx version, and certainly in the 3.xx version, the volume control button was removed from the Vysor PC interface. This is highly inconvenient, as I used it mute streaming audio on my phone, right from the PC screen. Well, now that feature is gone and my requests have gone unanswered. I'd like it back. So three bothersome issues, each costing a star. Hey folks, I tried every which way otherwise to reach out and I am very put out at this point. Can I actually get the courtesy of a reply? I'd gladly give all the stars back if you'd address these issues!
2020-05-11 | Clint Seeber | The concept of this app is good. It is better than other apps that only allow you to view Android screen on your computer - but do not allow you to interact with the screen from the computer like this one does. This app also does not use the browser on computer like those apps - another plus. Unfortunately, even the paid version does not do all that it is advertised to. I still cannot go full screen or wireless. Also, the settings don't stay where I set them at. Have to change every time I use.
2020-05-08 | Janet Deshmukh | I liked Vysor version before 3.0.67. Please do not force the latest upgrade for desktop version. Older version is visually more clear to see list of devices when there are 8-10. Older desktop version has better accessibility for multiple devices' Vysor windows. New one is painful to see list of devices and is also horrible when one moves multiple devices' windows, it keeps going into full screen. New version is too much of a torture than help. 4 stars are for older Vysor, new version is 0 stars.
2020-05-04 | Jake Biddlecome | Free version works well and I was interested in signing up for the pro version. Unfortunately the app doesn't give you an option to upgrade and the website just said purchase in app. Litterally only one screen in the app and no menu or anything to do this. I'm guessing Vysor is no longer an active company as there is no information online and their Google+ support is shut down. Shame, looked like a good option.
2020-01-24 | A Google user | I wish could stream TV and movies to my PC through this app, from apps like Hulu and Netflix platforms. When I try to my phone plays but the screen is black on my computer. other than that i really like the app. I can complete control my phone via PC, I can watch youtube vidoes, but not actual shows. For example, i purchased a TV show through youtube, but cant watch it, but regular youtube video will play.
2019-11-06 | A Google user | This application works to control your Android device through a Windows PC just fine in that it gives you control of one or more devices but prepared to be interrupted constantly if you're using the free version or dish out quite a bit of money to use it monthly (it costs more than a Netflix subscription). In the past, the software occasionally had an advertisement that was not very intrusive but with the latest version, it will completely interrupt what you're doing (and for me it does so more frequently than every 15 minutes, more like every 5-10 mins). This will completely stop youtube videos or interupt podcasts or other work I'm doing on the Android device. I hate the update and find it illogical since the previous way it presented ads was fine and I could live with that (wouldn't you want perpetual ad revenue vs asking people to pay a bunch of money to use the app uninterupted for a short term gain?) At this point I'm not sure I want to give them any money or continue use of the app, I may just go find a better app.
2019-10-23 | A Google user | I like that I can view stuff on my computer screen, without getting tunnel vision after a while, but the FULL SCREEN ads really mess me up. A few minutes ago, I was racing online on an android game (btw in 1st place) and an ad came up. When the ad was done, I had lost the connection, I wouldn't have won.The 10 second warnings are nice, but I still coudn't pause because it was an online race. Please consider maybe displaying ads on the side of the screen (preferrably where the black borders are) |
