"Refresh MediaStore" is a simple app designed to update the media database on your Android device. It scans storage to recognize new media files that may not have been registered due to file transfers from other devices. The app features fast multi-threaded scanning, listing recently added files, and detecting media while scanning. However, it respects certain limitations, such as skipping directories with '.nomedia' files or those starting with a dot, and it cannot scan unmounted storage.

Dies a fine job of displaying your media store, I suppose. But it does not refresh it.(meaning empty the database.) Moreover, it appears that the menu items shown in the screenshots for the app are covered by a google ad which cannot be removed. Waste of my time.
