2024-10-07 | Ani Buxrude | The app is unusable. The website is fantastic and is easy to use. However, the app crashes and there are lots of bugs. It won't sync my tasks no matter if I hit sync and I tried restarting my phone and deleting and reinstalling the app. The app constantly flickers too almost as if it has a virus. I do recommend Toodledo but the website only. The app development team has a lot of work to do before this is a decent app. Don't waste your time downloading the app, just use the website if you can.
2024-03-01 | Amber Nicole | Love toodledo. Hate the app. It crashes constantly. And I mean, I open it, it crashes. I can barely see a task or list before it crashes. It's a completely useless app. And if it stays open for a few seconds and I go to notes, it doesn't open any of them..... And then it crashes . How in the world can an app be this bad?????
2024-02-26 | Renee | I'm only still using this app because I like the widget and the 4 priority levels. I use it in a 2x space because I like to have it next to my calendar that's also in a 2x space, and I can see far more tasks than the widgets of other apps because the text wraps nicely. It lacks some basic functionality though. Editing multiple tasks at once isn't possible unless you want to edit EVERY task at once. Setting up or editing a recurring task works on the app but not the web. Doesn't stay synced well.
2023-07-29 | Joshua Greenfield | I have a higher opinion of ToodleDo than I do most other time management and project management tools. It is very flexible; perhaps too much so for a user who is unsure of their desired workflow and objective with using the app. I have it set up so that I seldom have to use it unless my circumstances change and I want to do a time study and build my new optimal routine.
2023-07-18 | Patti Bert | Toodledo is feature rich and I Iike the concise, tabular format on the web version. I don't love the new phone app. It looks cluttered and not streamlined, with too much information on the hotlist in particular. The folders have headings, so the folder name doesn't need to be listed with every task. I also don't want to see the due date with every task. If it's on my hotlist, I know it's due today. If I want to see dates, I can go to a different view. I like the look of the prior app better.
2023-01-24 | Woman of Spirit | Pleasantly surprised with the content of this app. I can make lists, outlines, & track habits. Those 3 functions were missing from the previous app I downloaded this week. There is a calendar. It's solid & has the features that I want. But, unless I missed it, there is no dark mode. The stark white background is not user-friendly.
2023-01-11 | Great Scott Free | ETA 2: Now the app isn't syncing with the website. ETA: I keep getting Android System signin errors notifications like every 5 minutes. When I click on it, I'm prompted to log into the app. What's going on? I love this app. It has great options for scheduling reminders with repetition by number of days, days of the week, etc. A snooze option for notifications would be great.
2022-04-06 | Gehrig Ikeda (WDGEEK) | Just got a Pixel 6 Pro when it first shipped. Was working well for MANY years. I can open the app and see my list of items, BUT when I try to "open" or edit any entry the app just closes (crashes). Cant read the notes for the items on the list so this is a BIG problem when I need to see the details of any notes attached to an action item. According to the "Additional Information" for this app on the Google Play store, the last update for this app was on March 18, 2020, so its been a while since its been updated. I hope the developers see this note and fix the problem. I'm a paying customer so I am hoping I get back full function back soon, otherwise it wont be worth the yearly fee I am being charged. -- update on 4-3-2022-- went to the Toodledo website forums and read that an updated program would be available by the end of March. I just checked the program on my phone and I can now edit and read my todo items. The program does not seem to have changed or been updated, so not sure what changed to make it work. Maybe the syncing was sending bad data to my phone to make the system crash, but it seems to be working now. Will update this if things start crashing again, but for now changing my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars. Well, it started crashing again on 4-5-2022. Same way as previously so changed my rating back to 2 starts. Sigh........
2021-06-18 | Rich Jackman | This app just plain doesn't work. I have contacted toodledo twice now over a year about problems with the android app. Their response both times has been "We're coming out with a new version, in the meantime use the web interface on your phone." That would be fine if they ever released this "new version" but as I said, it has been at least a year.
2020-06-13 | r r | android alarm and notification issues: i have used and subscribed to premium toodledo tiers for many years, always went back to it after trying others. the desktop part of the application is great due to deep customization and sorting features, however the android app has always been lacking in many ways, and is not intuitive. recurring issues with alarm reminders, and only acknowledgment from tech support of the issue with no resolution or time frame for one given. i am searching for alternatives due to what i believe have been a slow decline for toodledo. i rely heavily on reminders via android (2018 samsung galaxy j3 achieve, and other medium end galaxy phones prior, with same lack of consistency with alarms/notifications). i really wish they could get it together, as i really have come to rely on their product |
