The best browser for Android. Doesn't have any features I don't want (rewards, crypto, etc) while having all the features I love (bottom address bar, built in dark mode, no tracking). Incredible how a small team was able to put this together.

The single best Chrome alternative on Android, Kiwi gets 5 stars by having no actual competition and by Google being a massive slacker and not giving Android users extensions on Chrome (which is the original reason i came to Kiwi). Kiwi has extensions, a built-in adblocker, and a lot of customization. One problem, however, is that you cannot transfer settings or data between devices, so make sure to remember your passwords!

Best. browser. ever. I've tried tons of other browsers & nothing comes close to the combination of speed & functionality of Kiwi. The ability to use Chrome add-ons/extensions is super useful to block ads & to optimize your web experience. Power users will love it. I have hundreds of tabs open & that doesn't cause any serious issues. I've been a diehard Firefox user for decades but I have to say that Kiwi is superior. 🏆

One of the better chromium based browsers available on android, and it has plugin support! I feel it is lacking some tab management features. I frequently have 100-200 tabs open at a time, sometimes in groups of 10 or 20 and as far as I can tell there isn't a way to enable 'confirm on close' for tabs, nor the ability to restore recently closed tabs and tab groups. Some other browsers do offer these features, but without plugin support it just isn't the same experience.

A good mobile browser offering all the features we ought to have. Full add-on and userscript support, and devtools, means we can fully customize our browsing experience to our liking, and we have the power to fix issues we run into across the web. The UI is serviceable, pages load fast enough, and we have the power to meaningfully control our browsing experience; it's most of what a capable desktop browser would offer. Points lost because you have to root your phone to access downloaded files.

Not all Chrome extensions work, and it is a learning process to figure out which ones do work, unlike Firefox, which filters out extensions that don't work on mobile. Microsoft Edge is also coming out with extensions for the mobile version. Kiwi Browser is not seamless for this reason. The default tab switcher is irritating to look at, and use. Fortunately, you can change to other styles. Overall, a decent browser, but I just think there are other browsers are polished, and nicer looking.

This is the best Android browser I've tried yet. It looks and acts like Chrome but has the ability to use Chrome extensions, which Chrome itself cannot even do. That alone is a game changer. It's also quite fast and has some cool options, such as putting the search bar on the bottom. I think I have found my permanent browser.

A game changer for Samsung DeX! I was using Chrome, choosing "Desktop site", but some sites such as Gmail would force me to use a mobile version because the browser still showed "Android". Kiwi browser is the answer I was looking for. It can act as a true desktop browser, complete with dev console and extension support! This allows you to change your "user agent" to mimic Windows or Mac for true desktop browsing in DeX. Tip: Install the "User-Agent Switcher for Chrome" extension.

Same problem for at least a year. Address bar and selector tab button become unresponsive until i close and reopen the browser. Just happens randomly and often. Problem didn't exist two years ago using the same phone. Update: i found a workaround that will hopefully help the development of this app. When the problem occurs, i can push, hold the tab number button a drag it downward and it'll show the open tabs. Once i click on a tab everything goes back to normal until it happens again.

As much as I really like this browser and the extension options, I find personal issues with this via "Open in new tab" not being able to be removed normally with changing Chrome flags; and by extension, I absolutely cannot make "Open image in new tab" open in the same tab group despite changing the proper flags for it. I'd easily give it 5 stars but flags that work if changed in Chrome but not in Kiwi are a problem for me.
