| 2023-10-03 |  | | Everything was going great til I got a new phone (used the same sim card). Now it says mailbox unavailable when someone calls me, so I was going to go back to my old voicemail. However, when I try to deactivate Instavoice I get an error telling me to insert my sim card. So now I'm stuck with no vmail as this one isn't working yet it won't let me deactivate it to go back to my previous vmail. ETA: Fixed the issue by downloading a different vmail app that also relies on call forwarding. Phew! |
| 2023-08-31 |  | | tried to activate it but hangs on "please wait while dialing USSD.." whatever that is, despite also saying "call forwarding registration was successful" thus it is essentially useless.. x.x ~ EDIT: was gonna uninstall, but used another phone to test & actually works despite not being activated! so weird, but found out the transcription part of "visual" *isn't* free, so there's that.. will keep for now! |

Chats thru the app to the developers go unanswered other than to say they will get back to you. Going to look for a better option. UPDATE 2/24/2023. Still not working. No resolution from developers. Repeated emails and in app messages go unresolved. |

Doesn't reflect recent missed calls or voicemails. Also, when trying to delete old voicemails to free up room, I get an error message and am not able to delete any of them. Disappointed to say the least. |
| 2022-10-11 |  | | Very simple, straight-forward visual voicemail app. It can transcribe most voicemails to text to read instead of listen (it's a few cents to do this each time, I have had dozens of voicemails transcribed in the past couple years of using this service and I still spent less than $5). I struggles deactivating the service (swapping carriers), but the devs are able to be reached via the help chat within the app and are very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend! |

Recently had an issue where I wasn't able to hear any audio after someone left a voicemail. However, the support they provide through their "help" chat is very responsive, and I managed to have the issue resolved in less than a day. Great service, great support. Thanks for that. More apps should strive to be like this. |
| 2021-05-03 |  | | Update 5/2/2021 T-Mobile switched one line back to native Sprint saying my new Pixel phone wasn't compatible with the T-Mobile network experience, and instavoice wasn't deactivated beforehand. The app says it's activated even though it isn't, and there's no way to manually activate or deactivate it. The support chat is completely incompetent. Too bad. I would keep using instavoice if I could just activate it. 7/8/2018 Great solution for Visual Voicemail on my Moto G5 Plus on Sprint. Fair price of 2 cents per voicemail transcribed to text, and I get to choose whether to transcribe a voicemail or just listen to it. Thanks for this app! |

On 02/16/21 I reinstalled the app and it shows now as registered, however I have problems with my carrier's voice mail, so I'm not able to get voicemail. I guess the InstaVoice is working as expected. Changing the rating from one star to 4. I will complete my rating once I get voicemail fully functioning from Altice Mobile company. |

Every time I tried to verify my phone number/sim card (apparently both worked) I would get the notification confirming my number was verified. When I went back to the voicemail tab it was like I was back to square 1. Every. Time. It wouldn't sync to my voicemail box. I don't have on forwarding or any other voicemail apps installed. It would be hard to convince me this app isn't bogus and is just collecting your data. Beware! |
| 2020-02-26 |  | | I just installed it and tested everything out. It all works on my Samsung Galaxy Sky with Android 6.0.1. My carrier is Tracfone Verizon. I reinstalled instavoice on a new Samsung Galaxy A10e with Android 9. It works fine, except it stops seeing calls and doesn't record voice mails after a few weeks. It did the same thing on my old phone. Reinstalling fixes the problem. I am going to try reinstalling it once a week. Let us know if you make any progress with finding the bug. |
