| 2023-04-15 |  | | After all these years KEF Stream is still a mess. There are simply too many bugs to mention. The *only* reason I still have my LS50W's is because I can stream 3rd party music apps using my Chromecast Audio (via optical input) otherwise I'd have sold these speakers years ago. KEF Stream is absolutely infuriating to use. I would never have bought the speakers in the first place if I had the foresight to first check the app reviews. And iOS is just as bad. Read other reviews to confirm my findings. |
| 2023-01-11 |  | | Update: App is performing much better with no connection issues. Bugs here and there, such as being logged out of Tidal within the KEF Stream app quite often. Connection with spotify through the Spotify app has issues, but that may be Spotify issues. Original: When my KEF LSX were updated to 4.1 they were running pretty well with this app, now with them updated to 5.1 the app doesn't hold the connection with them all the time and I am experiencing more bugs. How can I downgrade back to 4.1? |

Primarily use Tidal but the app looses login credentials, and current playlist or status, every time you turn off the speakers. If this is the primary KEF streaming app then it needs to be a whole heap better, otherwise I'm selling and going to something which can integrate with Tidal connect (and it won't be LSX 2!). |

Bottom line, KEF LSX is not a all-in-one product, its streamer is inusable because of the control application bugs... |
| 2021-01-21 |  | | Subscribed to Tidal. Found out that the LSX does not support Tidal Connect so I'm stuck using this app. Quite frankly it very frustrating. Tracks don't start playing. Sometimes controlling the speakers does not work. Most of the time it takes over a minute for the speaker to respond to a track change etc. Kef should fix this. |

What happened?. With tidal I click albums I get the "a,s" and albums starting with numbers and..... That's it. No b, or c, or........ Can't populate the start page with favorites or anything. Love my ls50w,s but it's 2021. Make these apps better already. |
| 2021-01-04 |  | | Kef's very good LSX speakers are badly let down by their awful Stream app. The Tidal functionality doesn't work - tracks are repeated, dropped halfway through or don't play at all. The Spotify option simply invokes the Spotify app, which fortunately does work (so KEF Stream is redundant). Playing locally stored music is painfully clunky. Kef should be ashamed of this. |

Go back and select the song again and nothing. Now the songs in my phone library won't play either. This app has been available for how long? |
| 2020-08-05 |  | | Tidal play for LSX is a nightmare that it always stops after each track. So annoying that to stick with the phone device. KEF shall fix and release the app update as soon as possible. Really disappointment of such a well known brand. KEF should also consider to incoroporate internet radio services to this app to become more comprehensive and utilise this wireless speaker device. For example TuneIn services or something similar. Media server and library play should consider to improve to read other language characters, e.g. Japanese. App layout and ease of use are well design. No lag and no clash!!! |

Over the course of using them for two days the music has stopped between tracks and failed to restart 5 times. In each instance when I force stopped the app and cleared its cache it started working again. This is a real disappointment for an otherwise fantastic set of wireless speakers. |
