| 2024-10-11 |  | | Great app and service overall. But... I have very technical questions that I reach out to IP Vanish's 24-hour support team. Lately, the support team is not available. This is a bit frustrating since 24-hour access is one of the features I most value in my paid subscription. Perhaps "beef-up" staffing a couple FTEs, work on scheduling issues...? I don't know exactly, but if this failed subscription feature could be remedied soon, I--as many others, I'm sure--would really appreciate it. Thanks! 😊 |
| 2024-10-03 |  | | I haven't used this service in over a year, because it would slow down, steaming kept buffering, & I would constantly have to connect to a different connection. I not only canceled over a year ago. I also unchecked the auto renew option. I was recently billed $89.99 & could not get a response from IPVanish. My bank said that I was also charged last year, even though I had canceled. When I login, the auto renew is turned back on, & will not turn off. I am owed a refund, & am contacting VISA! |

I can't quite figure out the new app seems very confusing and I actually consider myself to be relatively computer savvy. put this app on the fire Stick is not good and it's very confusing. |
| 2024-09-16 |  | | This app frustrates me, I bought a plan yesterday and it connects and works well last night, I decided to connect it this morning and it won't let me. it says error connecting to wireguard, on second attempt it tells me too many attempts already, really. I contacted support and sent diagnostics times without number, cleared all data and cache, logged out and in it won't still work.. Poor Vpn. |
| 2024-07-21 |  | | great so far, I'm being hacked everyday. my phone does stuff on its own. only thing is I think they have a backup because my phone freezes and then apps are not where they were.. but still 5 stars because it seems to help. now I'm missing a couple options in the settings. the scramble and the protocol dissappears when I click on settings in the app...help please? |
| 2024-06-20 |  | | I can not begin to explain how this vpn has interrupted my life. So many accounts have been flagged for fraud or strange activity. Hulu barely works, and social media accounts were shut down. I wanted to keep it because I used it for years, but it has become an absolute nightmare. Any free vpn works better. I had to switch servers 25 times per day because my internet wouldn't work. I finally went to Nord and have ZERO issues. DO NOT WASTE YOUR ENERGY ON THIS APP. |
| 2024-06-06 |  | | Do not install this app. I have been trying to cancel them for over 3 years. Even canceled my card. Not only did they somehow force the charge through its connected to someone who lives in another state. They play games when you want to cancel. Suddenly, your password won't work, & of course, their password reset doesn't work, but they will keep trying to charge you. I filed a fraud case against them. If you have had this same thing happen, file a fraud charge. This company is trash. |
| 2024-02-03 |  | | Some of the issues I've experienced(paid subscription). It's NOT SECURE. Websites know you're using a VPN! Along with your ISP Or Network Admins. Also Only ONE of the connection Protocols works, WireGuard. All others don't connect. I've been looking for a Nord alternative and will have to continue. To be fair it's speeds are alright and connecting is quick... usually. For the price it's an easy pass. subscription ends in 2months and already looking for a new option. |

However, since the update I have frequent problems using web sites like Amazon (on Android phone and Windows laptop). And I often lose VPN connection on my phone, with the pulldown status showing the Connecting.... message indefinitely, even when the app shows connected. Streaming services often "hang" until I stop and restart ipVanish. I don't have confidence in the app now. I have to fiddle with it constantly. |
| 2022-09-25 |  | | I have been using IPVanish for over 5 years with little trouble. I don't think I have ever experienced an outage, and it rarely experiences lag. Occasionally I have to switch servers, but more recently I haven't even been experiencing the need to do that. I always make sure it is running on public or shared networks, and with it being so stable sometimes I forget to disconnect it for days. IPVanish is always one of the first apps I install on a new device. You should too. |
