2021-11-30 | Mary Eaton | Great app. I didn't like my LG Stylo 5 default navigation bar. Previously I tried to use a Fluids Navigation Gestures and my device default navigation bar would interfere with it so I followed the instructions. So I can use Fluid Navigation Gestures without any interference from my device built in default navigation. I have a LG Stylo 5 with android 9 and this is perfect. Great job developer. ☺️👍👍
2021-09-27 | Michael Billings Cole (MJB) | Using this app combined with others as a security lockout feature. I really appreciate the app designer's way of doing things in general. Root access or ADB and he gives you all the instructions in the app and in the Play store no guessing video would be nice. If you implement everything correctly with this and other apps like. 01 hide navigation bar 02 app locker 03 app freeze 04 blank launcher 05 switch user 06 Tasker You can make a secure phone without root that nobody can use without you
2020-10-06 | LeeAnn C. | Unfortunately, as great as this app looks it no longer works in Android 11. After running the adb command successfully it did not change the position/appearance of my navigation bar in the slightest. It seems that this feature is well and truly disabled.
2020-08-29 | Josh Price | This is the only app I could find (after going through many) that hides the navigation bar while letting you do swipe gestures without having to swipe twice, so it retains the stock functionality. I paid $1.99 to get the quick settings feature but the dev deserved it because I couldn't find an app that has this exact feature. There are plenty of immersive mode apps that do almost the same thing, but they require you to swipe twice which isn't what I was looking for.
2020-05-26 | Matt Bilyeu | It works, but it has downsides. When the navigation bar is hidden two swipes up from the bottom of the screen are required to go to home or to access all the apps that are running. That's more annoying than I can deal with. I'd like the bar hidden, but it would be nice if the functionality could remain intact. It makes the phone a pain to work with, so I disabled it.
2020-03-18 | A Google user | Works for me on XiaoMi Mi 9t, however required a restart. Edit: decided to purchase the full version for the quick settings button. Seems a bit expensive (I'd say $0.99 would be more reasonable) but either way it works well and does what it advertises.
2019-11-23 | A Google user | Just as Dejan Horges reviewed. Works perfectly. Tried it on stock unrooted pixel 4. Removes the stripe and more importantly removes the part of it which in incompatible likes Whatsapp create this ugly black line..now its gone, all apps look awesome in full screen and all.stock.gestures work including swipe to home swipe in between apps!
2019-10-30 | A Google user | I'm glad someone on the XDA forums told me about this app. It allowed me to hide the gesture navigation bar on my Pixel 4 XL with ADB. I was pretty confident that I would require root to get it functional and am glad it didn't. My only gripe is that the Google Assistant curve is still showing.
2019-10-30 | A Google user | I like the app idea but it doesnt do exactly as what im looking for. Its the closest i can find though and i can disable the nav bar while using a pop up nav bar. But Im looking to make my navigation bar invisible. Still there and still fully functional but 100% invisible. I have an audio visualizer that runs across my navigation bar but the designs for the buttons overlay the visualizer so an invisible nav could come in handy. Create an app that does that and perfect.
2019-10-28 | A Google user | Works exactly as expected. Hides the ugly gesture strip on my Pixel 4 XL without issues and gives me a clean look that Google should have given by default but for some bizarre reason didn't. No issues navigating at all after removing the strip. |
