App summary

Whenever you install a new mobile application, subscribe to an online service or create a profile on a social network, you are presented with a privacy policy which you need to accept in order to continue. And we usually accept these without reading. Even if we read a privacy policy, a big question is will we understand it to make an informed decision and give consent for our data to be used.
In order to help you navigate complex landscape of online privacy policies, we created Pro Se, an AI based privacy policy assistant. Pro Se reads privacy policies instead of you and visually provides you with key takeaways. It empowers you to make informed decisions when deciding whether you want to accept the terms in a policy policy.
Private data is the currency of the online world and you have the right to choose how and with whom you want to share it and under what conditions. Let the companies behind online services and applications know you mean business!
With Pro Se you get:
• Digital archive of all accepted policies - Pro Se allows you to do custom searches on all archived privacy policies. You can search for terms of interest on all archived policies or within a specific one. Search for disclaimers on sharing your private data with 3rd parties. Search for terms like “global pandemic” and see if your service or application provider is up to the task to protect your privacy at any circumstance.
• Application permissions - App permissions are those annoying pop ups that you usually skip through in order to get started. These are important from a privacy perspective because you are allowing mobile apps to collect certain information (contacts, photos) and access resources of your device (microphone, location, network information). With Pro Se, you can see all permissions asked by your applications and decide if that photo editing app really needs access to your contacts and microphone.
• Ability to define privacy protection preferences - You can customize your privacy preferences towards third party applications. Pro Se by default has three predefined profiles, Guarded, Vigilant and Laid-back. In addition to these profiles you can create your own custom privacy preferences by choosing what kind of information are you willing to share in relation with third party apps, for what purpose and for how long. Please note that we do not collect or share any information about you other then those disclosed in our privacy policy. We analyze which information third party applications collect and share when you use them, based on their privacy policies. The sole purpose of the information about your privacy preferences is to determine whether a third party application, which privacy policy is analyzed, collects information which are not in line with your privacy preference profile.
• Ai based policy analysis relative to your privacy protection preferences – Know about your data: Pro se provides you answers about who is collecting your data, what data is being collected, for what purpose do they collect the data, for how long they will keep your data and how will they inform you about any updates to the privacy policy. Control your data: Pro Se provides you answers whether you can access your data on request, can you transfer it elsewhere, can you object the way they process your data, can you rectify or erase your data, do they make automated decisions based on data profiling and whether you can withdraw your consent at any time. Security: Pro Se provides you answers about how secure are your data and which security measures do they apply to keep your data safe.
Pro Se empowers you to make the right decisions about your data and privacy protection.
And remember, ignorance of law and regulation excuses no one!
